radio and phone conversations in dreams

Has anyone else ever been able to hear phone conversations or radio stations in their dreams that they are convinced must be real and happening somewhere?. I have and am wondering if this is something common in the hypnogogic state or whatever it's called.??

hey welcome to DV uuuhmm...sometimes i have phone conversations in dreams, but i don' think it has something to do with the hypnogic state. it's just an other dream, and most of the time u can use the phone like a dream sign and wake you up in your dream. (like the matrix, lol) btw, shouldn't this be in the general dream discussion forum?
