texting someone in another dream?

Ok, I may be new, but ive lurked here for a while. I'm beginning to be able to lucid dream and i have had about ten minutes of lucidity total. I didn't really believe in all that shared dreaming stuff, but something happened that changed the way I look at it... Last night, I dreamt that first I was in school, in English, nothing really special. Then next I was in a dream where i had just moved into a high tech base. I did some archery (for some reason) and afterwards, I realized I was dreaming. This was a low level lucid dream though, because I knew i was dreaming, but i couldn't really comprehend it. Anyways, when I went outside, I started running somewhere, and as I was running, I was texting my girlfriend what was happening on my iphone, because I thought she was awake . I looked up and I noticed the sky and leaves of the trees near me changed color as I moved. I ended up at a gate near a farm, where I turned around and tried to fly. I failed, and slipped back into a normal dream. So I woke up this morning, and I started chatting with my girlfriend. I was thinking about my dream and wanted to ask her about hers first. She said that she dreamt that I was on my iphone texting her, and i said i was in school, but then I got out, and i was running under trees that changed color towards the beautiful park I was in in my first lucid dream. I was shocked, because until that point (while awake) I had completely forgotten where i was headed in my dream. She thinks its a coincidence, but I'm not sure. What are the chances? Anyways, tonight, if I remember in my dream, I'm going to try it again and we will give each other code words to see if we really have some sort of connection. What do you think, DreamViews?

Thats a shared dream, if she gave good detail of what you were doing and were surrounded by. Chance of it being merely a coincidence? If she had that much detail, none. Congrats.
