      accidental shared dream?

ok last night i had my fourth lucid dream, it was the longest ive ever had it felt as though it lasted for at least twenty minutes. in any case not one but two DC's were friends i know from school. now i talked with them in the dream for a bit and the seemed quite real. during the conversation i told one of them to do a RC for some reason and he did, the DC did and seemed shocked when he relized it was a dream. the DC who was my friend promptly disapeared for no real reason. now i thought this was just weird DC behavior but when i arrived at school today both of the friends who had been DC's seperatley approached me and asked if i had a weird dream that involved them. now has this ever been known to happen before? a shared dream with two seperate people who werent even attempting it? or is this just cooincidince

actualy we had a good 30 minute discussion about it. in the dream we all remembered fighting a large number of people using swords, and knives. it was at this point i became lucid and made the enemies stop coming. ive been trying to talk to DC's in my lucid dreams so i started talking to my friend who at the time i thought was only a DC. at one point in the conversation i remember asking him to do a reality check. when he did he looked quite surprised and just kind of dissapeared. my friend remembers this conversation and remembers doing the reality check and waking up out of shock. my other friend also remembers awaking suddenly after watching my other friend doing a reality check

      well this is new.

i seen quite a few negative posts about shared dreaming and how it can't be done, but this seems to prove that it is possible

That sounds amazing! I was also skeptical, but now, I may have to trust you and believe it.

The next time I become Lucid, I'm going to try to initiate a shared dream. If we can somehow prove to everyone that this is real, then our scientific community is going to have to change their way of thinking.

this makes me think that the everyone shares the same dreamworld. i think that the reason you think you had a shared dream is because you had your friends become lucid. i think that the majority of people dont know about lucid dreaming, and as such they appear to act in a different manner. it would be pretty cool if this were true!

it would be, our best bet would be to have multiple DV users attempt to share dreams

I've had an unintentional shared dream with a friend before I ever got into lucid dreaming. I think that some dreams are are definately just in our head but there are some that take place in a sort of mutual "dreamworld"

Everything makes sense once you stop thinking about it

This is something that I completely want to explore. If you are in an LD, call for me...If I'm dreaming...I'll do my best to join you. Report back and I'll tell you if it was what I dreamed or not...or we can report seperately and let the others decide. Just, no nightmares please...dreaming should be a pleasant experience.

I'm really skeptical but I'll try. Interesting to see what happens as I have no idea of your appearance. What shall I call you? "Interested1"?
