      Resolving social issues in dreams?

Ok...so here's my freaky story of the week:

On my very first day of work (where I currently work), I met a girl that was very pleasant to my eye. I quickly noticed that the phenomenon was reciproctal, which made me do something stupid. Being full of testosterone, I did not waste time to try to hook up with that beautiful miss. Well turns out she had a boyfriend and it made things really awkward since then. We actually have never really talked since then, but very often will stare at each other.

While this has been kind of hunting me ever since, something changed today. It is mostly because of last night...in the dream I had, I explained her everything that was on my mind and heart, and she did the same. After a long warm hug, we were really good friends in my dream.

Now this morning I get to work...and guess who comes rushing at me with a piece of cake? And guess who is talking to me like we've been friends forever and nothing awkward ever happened? What the hell ?!

I am really spooked out from this...yet supremely relieved.

Any thoughts? Is it my thinking that switched causing different pheromones and vibrations to let her enter my circle of comfort? I've thought about everything man...

Wow, that's pretty interesting, Hunter - be nice if that sort of thing happened to me

I like your theories of pheromones and vibrations as being possible explanations. It is possible that could be the case. Or, perhaps the situation with her boyfriend has changed, and maybe she found you charming the first time so is now acting upon that. Could be that maybe YOU'RE the one who picked up on theses changes in HER situation (subconsciously), causing you to experience the dream, which now gives you the impression that the dream effected her? hrmmnn.....

I'd investigate her situation a bit more -- but not TOO much more, don't want to scare her off!

PS- if you're into the vibrational frequencies thing, you might want to keep an eye on this thread.

I find that dreams can indeed change situations for other people as well. Oddly, it has little to do with mysticism. I won't go into this very deeply, because I'm at work, but your body feels how your mind feels. If you wake up and look or feel differently about a situation with another person, they will pick up on that. Your body releases different hormones, pheromones etc that other people pick up on. Some of this has to do with vibrations just like Joe mentioned. Your mindset may have been picked up by her. That's pretty interesting.

Aquanina's post describes this phenomenon perfectly me thinks. And of course the powers of the human body itself, such as hor&phero-mones.

Life is so interesting...when can we stop learning?!
      Never I hope
