      Some say it has happened, but it's unlikely imo.
      What however IS a possibility, is similar dreams, usually driven by a common aspiration.

      Dreaming is a personal experience, reality is a collective one.

      There are accounts of things like this happening, but no real way to substantiate them. You may as well give it a try, see if you can find your friends in a dream then tell them to ask you about it IRL. I've tried it without success, but it wasn't a waste cause it was still interesting.
