this is kind of an old post i know but brainwave entrainment is what i have been using for months now to induce lucid dreaming. It is a highly effective method of meditation / lucid dreaming, you can basically instantly enter a theta (or desired brainwave state) what i recommend is a program called Neuro-Programmer 2 or Mind Workstation as produced by http://www.transparentcorp.com/ now even w/o brainwave entrainment i can enter the theta range in a few minutes and effectively be dreaming.

How do you set this up once you buy it? Ive bought about 100$ in brainwave files and i have got nothing to show for it except for an occasional experience in astral projection. How did you use it and how do you set up a mp3 that will work?

well the problem is mp3s. the way an mp3 works is that it compresses the file by getting rid of sounds that you don't hear. so try converting into mp4 instead, or flac. i would just play the files in the program itself which uses its own file format like ndfs or something. and whether or not the file uses isochronic tones or binaural, isochronic tones can be used w/ speakers while binaural requires headphones.
