Something interesting happened to me last week, it was maybe Friday evening, I was sitting on my dad's couch watching Seinfeld, and I drifted off to a brief 20 minutes or so of sleep. The only thing I remember from my dream is that it was involving my friend Lexie and her friend, who's name I couldn't recall except that it started with an M. I can't remember Lexie's image in the dream but I know for sure she was involved. The M person I remember had a yellow or something shirt on, she was a girl, and she was sitting in an outdoor wooden style reclining lawn chair under an umbrella outside some portable classrooms in my high school in a little quad area with grass and some trees (a chair which does not exist in reality). It was a hot day. That's the only image I remember, looking at her and I also remember hugging her, because this guy that Lexie liked dumped this M girl because he liked Lexie... (typical high school drama...)...and I remember feeling the side of her with my hand when I hugged her. I remember how amazingly real it felt, although this whole time I was not lucid. Anyway, I remember how exciting it felt to find out that this guy liked Lexie instead of this other girl, and I remember thinking I had to go tell her. I soon woke up and went to get something to eat from the kitchen. I thought to myself as I poured a cup of Mango Juice, "I should tell Lexie about this dream, maybe it was a vision of some kind." I sat back down on the couch and pulled my cell phone out of my pocket and flipped it open. "1 New Message" was on the screen. I pushed the button to view it and sure enough, there was a message from Lexie herself, "hey whats up?"
I told her all about my weird dream and how bizzare it was that this happened, and I'm wondering if maybe this was a vision into the future or maybe ESP or perhaps cell phone radio waves altering my dreams. Anybody ever had a similar experience?
EDIT: I forgot to add, my friend Lexie told me all about her friend named Marie who had brown hair, which I also vaguely remember from the dream.
