freaky premonition i had..

one night i dreamt that the head of a scout group wanted me to join the scouts. she kept asking me, but i refused everytime (scouts are uncool). next morning i'm checking my email. this is what i seen: From: AVON & SOMERSET SCOUT GROUP (i live in a city near the counties Avon & Somerset in the UK) Subject: JOIN US "Thank you for contacting us recently about your interest in joining the scouts..." can't remember the rest of the email. i emailed back to them, asking why the hell they emailed me that, because i didnt email them. but i got no reply. WEIRD AS HELL.

Maybe your just going insane..... One thing I wonder about those kinds of dreams is how much you hear and see but don't think about and how much it probably affects your subconcious. Also is how you may look harder to see a connection between your dream and the future.

Did you leave your computer on? It could be that the electro-magnetic waves somehow interfered with your dream and allowed you to have "seen" the email in a very akward state. Yes, a person's brain has been connected to a computer before, and he was able to open up aplications and folders on it with his mind. It's very normal to have prophetic dreams every now and then. The more you pay attention to them, and become aware of them for what they are, the more likely you are to have more of them. The universe communicates to us in all sorts of ways both while dreaming and awake. You just have to become "aware" of coincidences and subtleties. Follow your intuition, and follow your heart. It may not always be right. But the more you use it, the more accurate it becomes.

How do you know death will bring answers to anything? WHy is it that some people assume after we die things will be revealed to us?

We have physical bodies for one reason: to house our souls When we die, our souls can no longer be detained, and must pass on. I believe in God, so i believe answers will be revieled (Or they at least should be dammit!) But these are my beliefs. So I now pass on the soapbox to whoever wants to speak next, or type in this case

Well while I think some things may be revealed to us when we die. I also think that our beliefs about the afterlife have alot to do with what we experience when we die. For some of us, perhaps it's just a matter of remembering. For other's their beliefs are so strong that they control their experience. Once you die your subconscious becomes your conscious in totality. Say you were brought up very religiously. And say when you die you pass on to the upper astral plane. Well you would then most likely believe that you are in heaven, unaware that their are several other higher planes one may reside on after death. It sort of limits the full spectrum of what one is capable of experiencing. There are many things that have and can be revealed to us here. The problem is that if our "science" can't prove it, people don't fully believe it. But that stems mainly from social conditioning. We've mostly been brought up being told that "seeing is believing." Then of course you have the other end of the spectrum regarding traditional religions. Alot of these people believe what they do (with no proof) because they have been told to do so. They have been conditioned to believe without questioning. When we stop giving our own power away, and learn to listen to our own inner voice, and intuition, then each person will begin to remember that which is "truth." You will not find it outside of yourself. And deep down everyone already knows this. Okay enough of that! Sorry but with the topic and all I just couldn't help myself.

Why do I doubt that any computer in the entire world broadcasts what's on it's harddrive with "electronic magnetic waves"? It would be a bit of a big security hole for say all the FBI computers, banks, etc.

Those waves would most probally be from the transformer anyway, the best you would get is a headache if you slept next to the back of your cpu. Premonitions are strange, it's hard to know where to stand. Sometimes it could be coincidence, or certain things that happen, which all hint to something that will happen. Who knows?

Even if computers did broadcast everything in these electromagnetic waves, then how would the brain know to decode them from binary form or whatever form it is they happen to be, and then reflect that in its dreams? On a side note, I reckon if I was to spend an few hours thinking of recent things that have happened in my life, I could probably think of at least 100 situations where I had "predicted" something or had "precognition".

My mother once dreamed of a kangaroo right before waking one morning. when she got up, she turned on the tv and there was the kangaroo or a kangaroo (can't remember if it was the same image or just the same species) on the screen! Personal testimony for ya.

I think Reikigirl is on the right track......i get premonitions a lot when i can remember my dreams. But who know's it could be 10101011 numbers coming from your computer..... I've had weird things happen with electronic stuff like cd players, TV's, probably even this computer. My dad use to have trouble with watches they never worked on him.
