This morning, I received a phone call from an unknown number, that woke me up from my sleep. As I groggily answered the phone, a female voice asked me if I had called her number the previous day. I thought for a moment and couldn't really remember making any phone calls to that number and said I had no idea who she was. She told me she was a psychic and that I may have called her for her services. Thats when I suddenly remember that I HAD called her the previous day! We talked briefly about prices and services and then I told her I would call her again sometime later to schedule a meeting. Anyways, I went back to sleep and I don't know if it had anything to do with just talking to her, but I had a dream in which I was some kind of strange masquerade party and this guy wearing a demon mask tries to scare me. I got a little startled, but then this woman walks by and shoves the demon mask guy into a table and walks up to me. She looked me in the eye and said "Don't let the dream demons harass you." Now I found this weird because I have nightmares like all the time and I don't really know why since I'm not depressed or anything. Lately the nightmares have been a bit more disturbing (having sex with random people I know and relatives... UGH) and I really wish I didn't get thoughts like that into my head because after I have those dreams it'll kinda get stuck in my head. The psychic told me her readings were done over the phone using her intuitive psychic abilities and she also offered crystal energy work for additional charge. Dream coincidence or did she know that? I guess I'll only really know if I go ask her if there are negative entities attached to me. I mean, are there such things as "dream demons" that can cause people to get nightmares?

Short answer, yes. I say short answer because...well...search the forum for dream walkers / night stalkers and you'll understand. However, the woman in your dream was correct, and don't pay them any attention and there is little they can do. What I would say is that if there are genuine psychics out there, then it's definetly possible they could cross into dreams. If the one you called was genuine and noticed you were groggy she might have been able to do something. This said...not sure of the ethics of going into dreams and touting for business!

Whether or not Night Stalkers are real, (I don't want to open up that can of worms,) would say that this was totally coincidence. First, please don't take this as dismissing but I don't think it's that weird of a coincidence either. You saw a woman... That doesn't have anything to do witht eh psychic most likely since you had a 50/50 chance for it to be a guy or a girl depending on which more of your DCs are. Next, you saw a dream demon. You have have been having nightmares anyway I think it's just one of those. If you believe in NS, well, that is certainly not typical Night Stalker behavior. It's typical DC behavior though. And the fact taht she said not to let them bother you... Unless the psychic mentions it next tiem you talk to her there is no reason to believe that she did it. No offence but I doubt she climbs into all of her clients dreams for fun even if she is legit. I see no way it can make her money seeing as you already said you were going to get a reading.

Be very careful about phone "Psychics." Many of them are bs and scam artists who use simple tricks and logic to make you think that they have powers. But you must applaud their ingenuity. Some of the tricks I've seen used (and used myself ) for that sort of thing are quite devious and convincing.
