Thread: OMG! De-Ja-Vu!

ok so, about a month ago i had this random dream where i was playing pool with these 2 chicks at a bar ... and just the other day my mom and step dad got married. so we were at a club for the reception. it had a bar downstairs and i invited the only 2 chicks that were close to my age there to play some pool with me. and i swear to god.. for about 5 or 10 seconds, that moment went EXACTLY how my dream went.. i was walking around the edge of the table and one of the chicks was giggling at my jokes and missing the white ball. lol.. im not sure if im supposed to call that De-Ja-Vu or a premonition of some sort. cus i never played pool at a bar till then hehe

if anything it kinda freaked me out cus i never had De-Ja-Vu that accurate and vivid before

its been known that some dreams predic the future

De-Ja-Vu for me in a dream is not so common but most of the times I'll have it for like 2 minutes where a series of events get relived, its a wierd feeling to have wish we had more research on it

A Premonition. Had a few of those myself. Mostly predicting questions on tests all the way to the answer choices. Kinda awkward...

Yeah, I frequently have this. Problem for me is that it can be days or years. About a year after I started my job, I dreamt we had a big refit. 4 years later we did, and it was exactly like the dream with the same people, who I didn't know 4 years previously.

The fun trick is making yourself predict while you're still conscious.

Yea, premonition, happens to me sometimes too...

And its Deja Vu... Not De-Ja-Vu... Sorry, its something that irritates me.

I've never had a precognitive dream, but my sister and mother have both had quite a few. It's very interesting, to me.


I have had waking deja vu once or twice, and it is soooo weird. But a really COOL feeling, too. I want to have it more often.

hmm i have alot of deju vu (cant spell sorry) but when i dream its like pictures not full like dreams sorta thing then a couple years,days,weeks what ever it happens and i say deju vu but yeah imagine if u had deju vu with aliens or soemthing apocalpto

I have random de-ja-vu in real life even though I have never done those things before... I now understand it was probably because of a dream.

There are far worse sources of information, it's always a good base to start research. Obviously you would move on from Wiki to a more reliable source, but Wiki has good information it's just mixed in with bad.

Wikipedia is reliable coz there are loads of obsessive "Wikipedians" who fix things and make sure stuff is correct.

If for some reason ya dont like Wikipedia, use Google and find another site with info.

i get prophetic dreaming too. recently, had this dream that i was in this building (kind of like a school building) and i got an e-mail. this guy i know invited me to Wonderland. i knew that his girlfriend (who happens to be a good friend of mine) would be invited too. The next day, i told my friend about it, and she told me that they made plans to go there this weekend.
over a while, many of my dreams have been like that.

Hi i,m new to this site, but deja vu happens to me daily and it is normally what i have dreamed the night before, so i believe dreams do tell the future as mine do. x

how can u believe that very farfetched need evidence and more expierence

I've had loads of Deja Vu. Sometimes I don't know WHERE or WHEN I was in the place before, sometimes I have a dream and its the same, and other times I can predict entire days (thats the worst and freakiest kind).

well that was my only deja-vu dream that i can remember... im still working on dream recall... but i can only seem to remember atleast 2 dreams a night only on the weekends cus i dont need to wake up with my alarm clock
