I have but not in the sense I think most people think of vampirism. I've been around people who are always wanting "attention", or who are always creating "drama." This is also a form of energy vampirism, as it can be draining energetically to those who have to contend with them. They pull "attention" or "energy" from others to build up their own so they "feel better". That's why some people can become fatigued after being around these sorts of people all day.

You do feel like something "evil" or "negative" is in the room with you. I've even felt pressure on my chest like someone was actually sitting on it. See "Old Hag's Syndrome." But once you get over that initial "fear" the feeling of something being in the room with you goes away. At least that's been my experience.

The article was definitely describing sleep paralysis. I've experienced it too, and it was purely physical. It was kind of a cool experience, though I'd hte to deal with it on a regular basis.
