      Young Childeren and psychic development

I have a theory. I know that you childeren (0-4 years) can see aura without trying. But what about other psychic phenomana? Like communicating with their spiritral guides? I would think that because small childeren have not delveloped their social skills, they would accept psychic abilities, and their "imaginary friends" are their guides. I ask my little sister (3), who her friend was. She said "Meyens!". Then I asked her, "Ask Meyens what the meaning of life is". She did, and I did not get a strait answer. She said, "Meyens said that he fly around the towns, and he does not like it". Note all the war and violence around our war. Also, Meyens called me "Michael" (real name, my nickname is Mike). My sister always calls me Mikey. She has never called me Michael before then. My sister is clueless, she is not aware of all the war going on, this is just a theory, but maybe Meyens is her spiritral guide. We all remember our tot days, when we had our little friends, right?
"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed."
      - Albert Einstein
"We're so engaged in doing things to achieve purposes of outer value that we forget the inner value, the rapture that is associated with being alive, is what it is all about."
      -Joseph Campbell
"He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would fully suffice. This disgrace to civilisation should be done away with at once. Heroism at command, senseless brutality, deplorable love-of-country stance, how violently I hate all this, how despicable and ignoble war is; I would rather be torn to shreds than be part of so base an action! It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but an act of murder."

Hmm interesting. I might have to test that myself. Yes i do think little children are able to have abilities because they don't know what's "real" and what's "fake". I too could see auras when i was little, and had an imaginary friend who knew alot (well actually i still do have an imaginary friend by the name of BobTheAlcoholic).

I cannot remember if I had a guide when young. I do know that I have had one in dreams many many times and still do. But I had many abilities. Not only could I see auras, but I could occasionally read thoughts. OBEing and LDing was also a common thing at between the ages of 5-7 for me. I LDed nightly until about 10. Only with practicing am I regaining these skills (i am 16 now)

I think young children can definitely tap into that energy with no effort. They are so pure and in tune with their essence. They have not yet had the opinions of others forced upon them telling them it is not real. They have an openness and innocence that allows these experiences to come through.

      Peace Sensi.

The only thing i know from young children that differs from addults
and that could maybe a link in all this, is the fact they have lower brainwaves.
Kids till 5 years old got theta waves, older children still got way more alpha waves
then addults. That would indicate there older brain regions are more active then that
of addults. Information is less filtered that way by the cortex.
But this can work both ways, also gives them a stronger imagination.
Would be easy to test them, prob that has been done, no idea what the outcome was.
