      Sleep Paralysis & Precognitive Dreams

So I'm not sure this is the right place or if these are even related but I need a little advise because this seems to be progressing. From what I've been able to find on the internet I believe it is Sleep Paralysis & Precognitive Dreams but here's my story...

About 15 years ago, when I was in high school, I can remember the first time I woke up at night, my eyes were open, I could see everything around me, I could think clearly, I was AWAKE, but i couldnt move. I couldnt get up, I couldnt move my head, not even my finger. The only thing I could move was where I was looking. I tried calling out but nothing. I have to say this was fairly scary. Not that I thought I was all of a sudden paralyzed but more like what the hell was going on. I tried to jolt myself up but nothing. I layed there staring at my clock. I remember seeing the minutes go by. What seemed like hours was only a few minutes. Then suddenly with a strange feeling I was out of it. The clock read the time I saw and everything was right again. This was the first time.

Since then I have had this happen atleast once a week, sometimes more than once a night and nightly. I have learned to recognize it and if I relax I can snap out of it, usually.

Now I dont know if this is related or not but heres where the precog. comes in. One morning I was in this state and I heard music, as if my alarm clock was going off. I eventually snapped out of it and when I awoke it was just a few minutes from the time my clock was to go off. It went off and it was the same music. This could be coincidence or random but it was wierd. This was just the first time, and very minor.

Since then I can recall many more more disturbing incidents. To put a little background, I tend to dream frequently, and my dreams are pretty vivid when I do. However their are some dreams that are just different than others. I dont know how to put it any other way. Sometimes they repeat 3 times, but sometimes they are just different.

The following are true, I know I cant prove it but some are documentable and others I started telling more and more people as they occur.

-- Heres how it started --
      1. I've had many small incidents like the music. I can remember most recent I had a dream about a small work event we used to have frequently. We hadnt had one in about a year. That day I wasl chatting at work and said we havent had one of these in a while. The next day we get notice of that very event. Now there are 5000+ people where I work and we have no involvment on making that happen. Another time I dreamt about someone I hadnt spoken to in a while, that morning there was an email waiting for my from them. Many little things like this happen all time. There more significant are to follow.
      2. I can remember having a dream about a fellow coworker who had moved 1000 miles away and who was ill. That evening I called her that evening and we spoke for a good while. I had not spoken to her in over a year. The next day at work I recieved notice that she had passed away. Why did I call her that day?

-- Heres where they begin to get more clear and more disturbing, these are the two most vivid ones I have had --

      3. I had a dream I was on a small beach standing on the sand. The waves were coming up fairly rough. Then a giant tidal wave swept over me. I woke and quickly fell alseep. The dream repeated. Then again. That morning I woke up, told my wife I had a dream i was on a beach and got hit by a tidal wave. Later that morning we heard that big tsunami hit indonesia.
      4. The most recent, about two weeks ago, which led me to do a little more research and brought me here. I had a dream I was getting on a Continental airplane, the airplane was taking off and crashed on the runway. I woke up. I feel asleep again and had a similar dream, this time the plane came down from beneath the clouds but it was off coarse, too low, and crashed. And again a third time, this time I did not get on the plane. It took off and due to heavy winds flipped over backwards and crashed. When I woke I told my wife "A Continental Airplane is going to crash on the runway" This time I wasnt happy just telling her and having people go yea right. I told a few other people as well. About two weeks later, just a few days ago, a Continental airplane crashed on the runway! (Note I have never flown Continental, I never even think about Continental. When I think airplane I think United or American. Just strange I picked Continental, and that was the one to crash with just a few days. Not like airliners crash everyday).

Anyway... you're either saying year right, or stopped reading by this point. In any event can anyone help explain what is going on, if they are related, and if they will continue to get more frequent and more vivid, cause its a little freaky. Also, I dont try to have these dreams or to dream at all, it just happens. I was wondering what would happen if I tried. Could this really be precog. dreaming? Or just coincidental of some sort?

      Thanks for reading...

You can make money my friend. Warn people or something.

I don't think they are related as Sleep Paralysis is just your body asleep so you don't act out in your dreams, but you get hallucinations in it.

      Dreams are different.

I know what you mean. I have had some of those dreams but not tragic. Mine were like ( I played water polo ) I had a dream in the summer about another school's pool. It was a very vivid dream. Then when school starts I was like oh wow I know this place. It was EXACTLY like my dream. I had a dream about a test I took before I took it too. I have had more too.

that is pretty freaky admitably, have you got a dream journal? if not start one and see if you can predict more things, also have a way of verifying you had that dream that night. also dont hesitate to post more on this you have me completely hooked.

wow, yea i do that too. well, i dunno maybe its just me seeing connections when its just a coincidnece, but i remember one night i had a dream that i was in this limo with this old lady and this old man and we were driving along this cliff and i wanted to get out to look at the view and so we all got out, and then the old man had a heart attack and died. and seriously, when i woke up i walked into the lounge room and on the news they were talking about some old guy (i forget his name) that had had a heart attack and died - i mean, i'm sure old people die all the time, but still i thought it was creepy...

then there was this other time when i dreamnt me and my friends were at my house and we were playing poker (not that i know how to or anything ) but yea and my friend Mary had a really bad headache and lied down on the couch and i was really worried so i called her mum to come and pick her up. the next day at school i told her about my dream and she said that the day before she was going to church but then she got a really bad migraine and it was so bad she couldn't go. after that she thought i was like some sort of prophet or something.
but yea, i totally know what you mean.
i think there's a fine line between coincidence and something more...or maybe we just scared its something more and just put it down to coincidence?
