First things first, Don't come here flaming me. If you are doubting/challenging my abilities, don't post, period. It will only waste your time, because I won't reply to it.

Now then, the juicy details.

As for "Breaking Out" it seems that I don't necessarily need lucid dreams to completely break out. I have earned one or two more abilities that have come very slowly towards me.
note: I use the word "abilities" instead of "powers" because powers seems to ruling in my opinion, and that's not me.
My second ability, wind control, is great now. I can start and stop the wind in less than five seconds, and the speed is completely up to me as well.
Controlling fire (like I did in my first break out session) isn't really as easy. It seems that creating matter is a bit out of my league, for now at least.
A new one I'm learning, which I just messed with today, is telekinesis.
I walked into the forest near my house (a really nice place to get away, it has a mini-peninsula which is really calming) today and focused on a pine cone on the ground. Just like in a LD (for me at least) I felt my mind sort of "lock on" to it, and I focused (concentrated) on lifting it up. Unfortunately, it didn't move, only stuff around it brushed around. I decided to try something lighter, so I picked up a broken piece of bark from the tree. Holding it in my left hand, and focusing my right hand on it, I managed to shake it. In a matter of around a minute or a minute and a half, the bark flipped over in my hand, and made my heart skip a beat (exciting!). I decided that was enough for then, and left for home.
A little bit later, I came back with my friend, and showed him. I picked up a pine cone and did as I did before with the piece of bark. He watched, eyes level with the pine cone as it raised up an inch or two. I also watched this, eying down at it in amazement. As soon as I felt a "whoa!" sensation jolt through my body, the pine cone fell, and doubt arose. (The usual culprit to my limits) That was it for today, and left me satisfied.
My last, and most advanced ability so far is flying, sort of. This past weekend I went camping in the south-eastern part of Virginia, and if you have ever been there, you know that there is a crap load of farmland. I had invited Andrew with me, assuring him it was a nice spot to relax. We headed out to the fields, and I edged him on to race me. I thought to myself before the race, about a new technique on these abilities. Standing there, I thought to myself I'm in a dream. Suddenly everything around me became more vivid, and I enjoyed the new look of earth through my eyes. We started running, and my legs weren't in my sight, which made me not feel them (just as they do in my dreams.) The fields had just been cut, and there where a lot of stubs from the cotton, which I seemed to glide over. Three fourths of the way done with the race, I felt as if I was literally running on air. I didn't think much about flying at this time, which was stupid on my part.
I told Andrew about it, and told him my technique. He too saw his vision change, and when we got done with the second race he explained exactly what his legs felt like. I agreed in amazement, because it was the same as I had felt, and prior to this I hadn't told him about how it felt. After this, we had similar feelings, but none the same as the first...I guess it's because we were trying. The only remnants of this ability are that I can run abnormally fast, for a long time, and not be winded at all. The second benefit is that my jumps are abnormal, and at times look like a cheesy movie edit.
I haven't forgot about lucid dreaming though! I still find it an essential part in my whole studies, clearing a year and a half of studies very soon. Also, I would like to thank all those who supported me in my studies, thanks a lot, you are a very important factor to where I am today. And to those who doubted me, I understand where you are coming from, but please refrain from posting...
