      About Dream Guides

Before you read this, there are two things you need to keep in mind. I normally try to stay away from BD and the huge arguments it brings, but I'm willing to make an exception here because of the second thing you need to keep in mind; I don't consider Dream Guides to be anything but parts of your subconscious. However, people sometimes see them as dreamwalkers, spirits, astral entities, etc. and I know it will most likely get moved here, so to skip that and make everybody happy, I've moved it here on my own.

With that said, I'm curious about these so called Dream Guides that people often see. Experiences, knowledges, theories, I'm open to all of it. I've even got a reality check worked out if I am able to find even one recurring dream character I can call a dream guide. I will train myself/ my guide, depending on how you look at it, to come when I call. This will get two things done: hopefully help stabilize the dream, and if the dream guide comes, then I'm obviously dreaming. I know it's a bit off topic, but really, information on this website seems to be scarce, other than the occasional reference to some recurring dream character.

Well, personally I believe that the Dream Guides I have met over the years are not just parts of my own subconscious. They have shown me and taught me things that I could not possibly have already known unless I learnt about it in a past life. Dream Guides are Dream Walkers who purposefully help others. I have had the priviledge of meeting quite a few over the years. Some are alive, some dead - and it is not always easy to tell the difference. Nor does it matter.

Well, you may believe that, and that's fine, but I'd much prefer to keep this within the realm of proven things here, just for the sake of avoiding argument. However, I would like to know of your experiences with them.

How did you know that your Dream Guides are Dream Walkers? Have you contacted them IRL or just took their word for it?

And how do they err.. feel (not sure how to said it better)? Is the feeling you got from them "warm" or "cold" or something other?

May I ask what they taught you?

Well, they either 'walk' into my current dream, or else they draw/invite me into their dream. No, I haven't contacted any of them in real life, though I would love to. All of them have felt either 'warm' or neutral. It is the nightstalkers in disguise who feel 'cold'.

I would rather not talk much about that, for various reasons. However, it was dream guides who initially showed me how to create the environments, characters, and experiences in certain types of dreams. Dream guides also sometimes create 'challenges' or 'quests' for me in the dream space in order to provide various kinds of learning experiences. Othertimes, dream guides take me to places that I struggle to describe - other planets / alternative realities / dimensions / times, within our multiverse. One dream guide even took me with her into her own physical body while she slept, in order to teach me the correct way to enter (through the crown of the head) and dispel any 'entities' that have managed to gain entry into one's body. It is things like this though, that make me reluctant to talk about it - because I am well aware of how far-fetched this sounds to most people .

Was this knowledge useful IRL - i.e. was you able to use it on person whose physical existance you can easily verify (for example, your relative, friends, colleagues etc) and verify effect of this treatment?

Simply because the controversial topic of nightstalkers has once again come up, I'm going to ask that you not argue about their existence here. If you wish to do so, you can do that here:http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...70#post1101170
Same goes with anything not directly related to Dream Guides.

I'm interested to know: have you met any Buddhist beings/teachers/masters (monks, yogi, and whatever else there might be) who have entered your dreams?

No - never. I doubt that I ever will, as I have no desire to .

So what religion or form of spirituality do those masters you met belong to?

No religion. All religions, though containing some truths, are fundamentally flawed.

I havn't but a few months ago my mom did. She never ever remembers her dreams but there was this one she had a few months ago where she remembered being at a resort with many other students and one "spiritual teacher." When it was her time to go she remembered not wanting to leave and asking the teacher for more guidance, although she doesn't remember any of the conversations... She described him as as attractive hah but thats usually how dream guides etc with manifest themselves towards you.

I thought it was quite fascinating

      Because you know all religions.

This just makes me think that these people you are meeting are entities that your brain is creating as a visual reference to explain how you gain knowledge. Maybe they are explaining what you are realizing as you realize it. Or maybe to reinforce your own thinking.

I was afraid this was going to happen. It's gone off the original topic of dream guides and gone farther onto stuff like Dream Walkers. I know it's Beyond Dreaming, and you have a right to posting such things as that, but I'd like to make a simple request that you stay away from anything not proven/ widely experienced by reliable resources. As I've explained, I really didn't want to discuss the beyond dreaming part of this, but I wanted to put it here because I figured the topic would move towards beyond dreaming, and then a moderator would eventually move it here. Anyways, if you could, maybe stay a little more on the known side of things, please? Anyways, I might consider moving it so I can get results more relevant towards what I want. Please do know that I feel you have a right to discuss such things, but it's not the result I wanted.
