Then again, you aren't doing "spells" or anything, you just redirect your energy some how. I read a comment on the second video, it does sound like an eel.

Where can I learn this My dial-up is too slow to see the video properly, but I am a Reiki I practitioner, and hands get hot while channeling Reiki as well. Reiki is a form of energy healing, much like the Laying-on-of-Hands in the church. Simply getting a Reiki I attunement should get you started, and you might find it easier to find Reiki than Qigong available in your area. My favorite book on Reiki is _The Essential Reiki_ by Diane Stein. The energy isn't drained from the practioner. The practitioner channels the energy from the God/dess or Spirit, or the Universe if you prefer. It actually benefits to pratitioner as much as the person receiving the energy. I do self-Reiki along with taking herbal anti-inflammatories as a method of pain control, because I can't take N-Saids like aspirin, Aleve and Motrin. It works great! But definitely, the hands heat up.

I know a lot of Wiccans who practice energy healing without having taken any classes or anything, so I think you could learn from the book... Stein's is best... if you really are motivated to. She gives all the "secrets" away that are supposed to be passed down from Reiki Master to student. She was a bit controversial for doing that, but her book is wonderfully lucid. I have also encountered RM's who will do distance attunements, some ever for free, so you could look around. I wanted the experience of at least taking the Reiki I attunement, and I got a private attunement, as it was a weekday and no one else had signed up. It was a weird day! First of all, I arrived there and found her office at the top of a steep hill. There was a larger parking lot at the foot of the hill, and I drove down and started to park, when I heard this soft but clear inner voice say, "Move the car off the pavement." Startling, right??? I looked around me, couldn't see any reason to move, but having heard these inner nudges before, I also couldn't see any reason not to. So, I moved the car over onto a gravel area to the side of the lot. I started walking up the hill, and my RM arrived and parked at the top to unload her car. I started helping her carry stuff in, and lo and behold, her car rolled down the hill and right through the exact spot I had listened and vacated! It rolled safely across the lot, coming to a stop on the other side, with no damage done to anyone or any car. I was so relieved that I'd listened to that inner voice! My car, at that time, was practically brand new, so I'd have been devastated if it had been wrecked. But wait... that's not all! As I was receiving my attunement from her, with no one else in the office, I knew she was standing in front of me with both hands on my head. But I distinctly felt another hand coming from the rear on my right shoulder. Ooooh... spooky. I was just coming to understand inner guides and angels at the time, and it was startling to realize that "voice" could also touch, and participate in my attunement. After that I began to hear him more and more, and he told me the Reiki I attunement was all I needed if I didn't want to do it professionally, that just doing Reiki regularly would increase the ability. So, yeah, there's plenty of evidence that you can learn it without the attunment, but it might help get you started to take it. It generally is only about $125-150 for Reiki I. The cost goes up as the levels get higher. But I figured that a single full body Reiki session done by someone else costs $45-50 dollars, so it was paid for in three sessions, and I've been doing it several times a week for myself for years now. Quite a bargain for the $125 that I paid!

I've learned some off the net and some out of books. Have a look at this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJeyZ43i-xY That's a pretty basic form of Qigong. It's just paying attention to your movements and breath. No focusing on where energy is flowing, which makes it perfect for beginners. I'd do a bit more reading on it though, just to get basic postures etc. You don't want to be doing it for months and have no benifit if your posture or your breathing is wrong.
