Lots of people here have experienced them, but there is alot of locked horns over wether they are A) Real pregonitve dreams or B) Something else - ie: your brain just working out the most probable thing, etc. |

Ah, the human brain is a complicated thing. Truth is we may never really know, until such a time when analytical brain reserach actually has some kind of definate result. I would LIKE to think we can look into the future, but believing in such a method could have unfortunate consequences, one may come to trust whatever you dream, and cause more trouble than it solves. |

It's quite interesting either way |

Yeah I agree, when both of these dreams happened I was kind of speechless, because I'm always fairly sceptical of so-called 'superpowers' or 'supernatural'. Myself, I think there is a lot of stuff that can be learnt from this, but there is probably a (reasonably) good explanation for this. Like you say, we knw so little about our brains... |

"There are two types of people in this world, people who think there are two types of people, and people who don't."
My mother once had a dream that she was going to go pick up my grandparents at their house. She got there and she says the back door of the car opened up and she watched in the rear view mirror and only her mother got in. She said, "Oh, Dad's not here anymore," and then was woken up by the phone. It was her mother calling to tell her to come over because her dad was dying. He died about an hour later. |
