Where are the edges of what to say to others when you either meet in astral or encounter in Dream and they share...a lot?

This is something I have been rolling over in my mind for years now with loads of trial and error mishaps. The person while NOT in 3d space has access to so much that the waking self does not. I do not feel bound so much by worldly ethics in any way it is my own gauge in the core of my being I go by.
(there really is none that apply to what I experience anyhow. If there is...it is quantifiable as rubbish of ignorance and non-awareness.)

That said, being a person not wanting to cause distress in those I have a strong connection to on a more real level than "reality" allows, where is that gray, almost invisible, line? Yes, personal thoughts differ on this way too much.

This again comes up with me as I have been speaking extensively with a new person (to me anyhow..old member here) on this site, last night being the most awesome from my perspective. With a big reaction not IN this world so much, is it fair to bring the waking person into awareness what they may not recall or would be uncomfortable with?
Fair not being exactly the right term..but covers the general feel of my motivation of this post.
