Question Was an OBE? Or related? Or just a physical hallucination?

I was attempting another WILD last night (and maybe at the wrong time again, I was too awake and had already been sleeping a total of, maybe 12 hours. I had gotten a flu shot for that H1N1, slept 8 hours, woke up for about 6 hours and went back to sleep for 4 hours... vaccine was kicking my ass).

I had a really good first stage to the WILD. I know if I'd been more tired, I could've gone into the dream stage, but that's besides the point. In the middle of the WILD, I was getting what I can only describe as sensory waves. The auditory hallucinations and the dreamlets were coming in waves that coincided with a funny feeling in my brain.

At one point, I don't exactly remember what led into this feeling, but I felt... separated. Like when I breathed or twitched, I felt like I was shifting. Like my spirit felt detached but was still lying there. It was really very odd.

I tried to do something with it, like float up, or roll over. Not really knowing how or what to do, it stayed just like that for a few minutes. This fluid, shifty feeling. Then, I just re-solidified back together.

      i've had that happen.
i'd love to hear what others say
my theory is that sometimes the sleep states mix... we are not discreetly always in one state or another.
You may have been crossing between HH and REM states

Maybe a mini OBE? No-ones gonna tell you it was a halucination, because skeptics don't really come to this forum (From my 3 days experience )
And now.. for a Stephen Strutmeyer Film...

I get that feeling when entering sleep paraylsis.
Ive had a couple OBEs before and during both it seemed as if my body was a long way away and i was floating free.. not really going anywhere.

Try twitching your fingertip and then if you cant do that your probably in SP, sometimes when the motor nuerons shut down i get a lot of strange feelings in the brain..
