Warning - Not for the faint hearted

      Hi All,

Just last night I had the worst nightmare to date. Everyone has their weird and crazy unexplained, mine was just down right out of this world.

I'll do my best to explain it so everyone follows.

So I'm having a normal sleep then all of a sudden I'm semi stiff and making love with 'someone or something'. I must say it was good a feeling, then realised that this was a dream and shouldn't be doing it incase my partner woke, part of me wanted to keep going. I woke and looked around to see I was still in bed, where the actual dream took place. Within seconds I was back to sleep then it happens again! Remembering that I didn't want to continue, I tried to fight it, I'm then shown a message saying 'You know who I am' now I'm freaking out. I couldn't see this person but I could make out a transparent shape of a person, I couldn't move, I know when dreaming your body becomes paralysed, but it was as if this thing was holding me down. Again I woke and took a few breaths, looked over to my partner for security and back to sleep I went only to be back in the dream for a 3rd time. This time it spoke to me and said 'You want me to F**k you don't you' - the voice was dark and didn't sound like any kinda foreplay, and it wasn't asking me either it was telling me. So now I'm wide awake and freakin it, trying to understand how and what the hell happened, I could feel every sensation and it was very vivid. I wouldn't have thought much of it but because I woke 3 times and continued the same dream made me think maybe I should ask around.

I've never had anything like this to happen. When I'm having an awesome dream I try hard to get back into it after I've woken and rarely happens, this time I wanted nothing of it and all so easily straight back in.

If anyone could make sense of this, it would be muchly appreciated. I'm totally open to criticism and thoughts so don't hold back.

      Thanks in advance!

They were more likely FA's you were having and if you knew you were dreaming you could of done something anyway but the voices and messeges are creepy, it's happened to me before but I made the stop and had a merry dream

Or When I think about it it could actually be sleep paralasys and they can be scary for those who havn't had it before but they can lead into a long LD if you know how to WILD

      Hi there.

This has actually been happening to me for awhile. It always occurs when I am in that trancelike state in between wake and dreaming. It's similar to an FA in that, it seems like you are awake in your bed, but you're not really sure, and you are actually lucid. It's the same place that people end up when they struggle out of sleep paralysis and find themselves floating or walking around their room and call this an AP or OBE, but that's a whole other conversation.

I used to think that it was a manifestation of some sort of fear combined with sexual desire that takes place during this stage, and would pass it off as bizarre hypnogigic hallucinations. However, I'm not so sure anymore. The more experiences I have with this "entity" the more I've come to think that it is more than merely a hallucination or creation of my subconscious mind.

Here are a few of my experiences with this invisible "incubus".

      First time...

Another time, this really creeped me out. I heard someone come into my room at like 4am...I heard my bedroom door open, heard them walk over to my bed...actually FELT them lift the blanket up, and felt the bed move as they climbed into my bed and laid down beside me. My sister was home from Chicago that weekend so for some reason I thought it was her but I didn't want to be disturbed so I just whispered "Schwester?" (which is German for sister and something that me and her say b/c we think it's a funny stupid word). And all I heard was "No." in a deep man's voice. It shocked and frightened me, and I immediately came back to full consciousness and looked over to find no one in my bed. It seemed so incredibly real that I was a bit shaken up for awhile.
This next time happened after I had been attempting to dream share with friends, here is just the part at the end of the dreams which involves the same invisible entity...

Suddenly I received a very strong tug from around my mid region. Actually it was in three place...one was my stomach...and it's a very hard sensation to describe and I don't believe I have ever experienced it before. But it was a mixture of nausea and butterflies in my stomach...but it was a distinct TUG. At the same time there was a distinct pull/pain in both my shoulder blades, almost as if something was tugging at invisible wings attached there. Anyways, quickly after this tugging/painful sensation I found myself zooming back into my own dream (?) possibly, or zooming back into my own body (?)...as I was flying back through the darkness another hand reached out and tried to grab me. I knew right away that something wasn't right.

This was a man's hand, it was strong, and yet it had sharp fingernails...which right away seemed wrong...and it just felt wrong. Plus I still had that tugging in my stomach and was flying back inside myself and I remember thinking that I wanted this "man" to let me go, I honestly thought it was a demon trying to keep me from getting back inside myself and I was terrified that I might bring it back to my bed with me. All this time, again I could not see, there was only touch sensations and sound. It was again as if my eyes were closed or everything was darkness. Eventually I made it back to my own bed, and this "demon" was still trying to get a better hold of me. One hand become two, and two of his strong arms were reaching out to me. I was able to throw them off and tried as hard and as quickly as I could to wake myself up. I kept telling myself that it was probably just hallucinations, or something weird SP related, and I was able to calm myself down and finally wake up.

As extremely awesome as it was the experiences I had trying to visit pj and Moonbeam...that last experience really frightened me and now I'm worried that every time I get lucid and find myself in that stage, if I reach out my hand, there will be some demon or other frightening creature there. I know it's just fear, and it's probably silly...but I don't want to experience things like that. Hopefully it doesn't happen again.
And here is from the last time he visited me...

Finally I realized that I was dreaming and became lucid and went and laid down on a couch. Suddenly I found myself in my own bed, not sure if I was dreaming, or if I had an FA, or was experiencing HI in SP. All I know was that there was someone else there with me.

It was a man. I felt his hands first, as they reached out and began to grope my body. I was unsure of what to do, I couldn't actually see anyone there, only feel them...but I thought it would be better not to fight it or things might get violent. It was just a really strange feeling I had, plus I didn't see any immediate danger in just going along with it, so I let this invisible man have sex with me, and was enjoying it.

Most of the time I thought this "man" was just in my imagination, and that I was creating it and manipulating it, but somehow it became clear that this wasn't the case, and I realized that it wasn't all in my imagination. I figured I should try to speak with him.

Nervously, I asked, "are you are demon? Or rather, since you have sex with women in their sleep are you a succubus, er I mean an incubus?"
      "Yes," it replied.
Not sure if I actually wanted an answer to my next question or not I asked, "um...are you from, hell?"
      "Yes."
As I lay there thinking about having sex with a demon from hell I wonder, "am I going to hell?"
"I don't think so," it said. "Maybe that's why I'm attracted to you."
"Do you get tortured in hell?" I ask.
"Yes," then he paused for a moment and added, "But it's probably not what you think."
"Why can't I see you? I want to know what you look like."
"It will only frighten you," he replied gravely.
"I won't be afraid, I don't care what you look like, how can I see you?"
      "With a mirror."
Then I noticed a square mirror about a foot wide and long resting against my bedside. I climb over the bed and hold the mirror up to my face, the demon is behind me and I can see him over my shoulder. He looked like a normal, average guy with dark hair.
"You don't look like a demon," I said.
"I changed my form," he said quietly, "I do not want to frighten you."
"Oh come on, I won't be afraid, let me see your true form."
Then he changed...his skin became so white it was almost blue, and flaky. He had a few scraggly long yellowish gray hairs and bright blue glowing eyes. His mouth was black and he made really terrible faces as though purposefully trying to frighten me. I laughed. It was obvious that this was not his true form either, but it was reassuring to find he had a sense of humor. I could tell he was not going to show me is true form. But as I climbed back into bed and set the mirror down, I could see him in front of me for just an instant, because he very quickly faded and became invisible again. I had a feeling that he hadn't meant for me to see that, and it was his true form, though I can't remember exactly what it looked like and I only saw it for an instant.
"What is your name?" I asked.
He was silent for a moment.
"Aren't you going to tell me?" I said, and then starting guessing names at random.
He laughed and said that he was not going to tell me his name, but I had the feeling he meant that he could not.
Then I got the feeling there was more to this odd meeting than I had thought.
"Do you know me?" I asked
"I've visited you before." he replied.
"Was it you that grabbed me when I was flying back into my body last week?"
"Yes, it was." Then he added, "You may not know me, but I've been visiting you for awhile."
"You once crawled into bed with me a few years ago? I thought you were my sister?"
      He didn't reply.
I got the sense that my questions were starting to bother him.
"I have to leave now," he said.
"Wait...." I said, as I still had many questions to ask.
"I'll be back again soon. Go back to sleep." and he whispered again in my ear, "go back to sleep."
"I am asleep." I barely managed to get the reply out, as I feel myself succumb to sleep. Though instead of falling asleep I fell awake. I think. It was very strange. I laid in bed thinking about it for awhile.
Anyways, make of it what you will. I honestly don't know anymore.

That's awesome Aquanina, I wish mine was as 'nice' as yours!

I've gotta keep reading this forum to get to know the lingo e.g. OBE

First time something that crazy has happened to me in my sleep, never knew others out there also have it. Though it was an experience I'm shit scared when it is sleep time. My partner now keeps me close to him at night, fingers crossed this was a one off for me.

Hi. I think what you may have experienced is known as sleep paralysis. You'll be glad to know that it's not a totally uncommon occurence. The experiences that fall under this category are wide and range from demon visits to alien abductions. The common theme among these experiences is paralysis. That is an inability to move... and sometimes to speak.. It is thought to be a strange state of consciousness, somewhere between sleep and wakefullness. Hallucinations are common.. so are feelings and sensations through the body. Also common, a feeling of dread, or danger.
If these occurences are real, actually happening (perhaps existing in another dimension), or complete figments of the imagination is unknown.. Who's to say? That all really depends on your beliefs.. There is still a lot of mystery surrounding this phenomenon. Still, it can SEEM very real to the person who is experiencing it.
I have experienced this phenomenon of sleep paralysis, myself. Although, not in the same way you have... and my experiences vary. I have had hallucinations. Also, experiences with an invisible incubus, as they are called. It felt about the weight of a cat or dog jumping on my bed. I looked and nothing was there. Although I could not move my body, I traced it with my eyes as it walked along my body. I could see the imprint in the blankets and I could also feel the weight of its body, as it walked on my bed, up alongside my body. I remember being astounded at how real it all seemed. I tried to stay very calm, as this is the best way to snap out of this state of consciousness. It then hopped onto my chest, and I could feel its weight on top of me. If I could have seen it, it would have been looking right at my face. I then began to mentally surround myself in a protective white light. I often do this, especially when I feel frightened. I remained as calm as I could and visualized the white light as powerfully as I could. It then jumped off of me and flew out the window.-
Everyone's experience differs. But, there are common themes, as I mentioned, earlier. I suggest that you look into the topic further. I hope you never have to deal with this strange event again, but from my experience, if you are prone to these types of occurences, it is likely to happen again. You will want to know what to expect and how to "snap out of it". The best thing you can do is STAY CALM. I don't know the science, but this helps you shift your consciousness. Remember, this is a phenomenon of the mind and imaginary... OR, if you actually do believe in other dimensional entities, remember that you are NEVER powerless. Call on your guides or angels for protection. Stick with techniques that are aligned with your personal beliefs. Empower yourself. You do not have to submit to victim consciousness.
I found some links that might be helpful to you. The first one is a video on google video called, "How to stop sleep paralysis".. It is over 2 hours long and I haven't watched it, yet... But it seems to have lots of good info. on the subject. For a quicker explanation, check out wikipedia's definition of sleep paralysis, (the second link)... and I also included a link to lucid dreaming acronyms...
hope this was helpful. Here are the links:

Yeah, I just watched parts of that video from the first link... and It seems very religious.. So, disregard that video if it's not your thing.. but there are other videos to check out. My main point is that you should research this topic further.
Here is a different link, which you may find more helpful:
