      Lamp problem

Ok so i may just be freaking myself out here, but i just had one of my scariest dreams of all time. I was so scared in this dream that a grabbed a chainsaw and just mutilated everyone in sight, because they were all trying to kill me, with big machinery, and other crazy ways. Ok so eventually i guess the dream changed and im laying in my bed in the dark and for some reason my computer screen is all the way next to my bed, and it shuts off. I go to turn my lamp on and the bulb blows. Im freakin out so i run into the living room since my bedroom light also wouldnt work (the overhead one). I see my mom who should be in the hospital in real life and shes like idk whats happening all the power just went out. So i look out the front window and theres a huge dodge f150 in the driveway and my cats were wrestling in the dark and somehow fly out the window, through a solid pane of glass, and dont even notice cause it doesnt shatter or anything. As im watching the cats outside, they just stop and look towards the door on the side of my house, i cant see out there, and my mom opens the door just starts freakin out, so im freakin out now, and i start looking at my hands to see if im dreaming, and im pretty sure i had 6 fingers but i couldnt be completely sure cause it was really dark but needless to say, those RC finally started paying off.

So i woke myself up out of sheer terror, and try to turn my lamp on, it comes on but its flickering really fast and making a humming noise, like when you rub your finger around a wine glass. ( this is all now real life) After a minute the buld just goes out, so i went to get another bulb, but it wouldn't work either. It finally turned on again, but now its just still not working right. Before i woke up this lamp hasn't really had any problems like that.

What the hell happened here. Am i just freaking out or did i actually effect my lamp in my dream somehow?

Well mate it's actually kinda hard to tell whether you're crazy or if your dream affected the lamp on your room since I wasn't there to measure any kind of phenomena.

Still, if you look up into human energy fields and stuff, you may had had a boost in tension or something while asleep enough to cause something on the lamp, since it was an supposedly important point in which your mind was focused on in the dream you had.

I mean, coincidences like that are too well timed for me to believe in, but that's just me.

I know this is a bit offtopic from lucid dreaming but you may be interested to know that there are people known as 'electric people' that can apparently effect lighting and electronics around them especially during highly stressfull emotions.

There is also one story from a person on the above webpage that mentions that she blows light bulbs when she turns them on and she also has lucid dreaming abilities!

I myself when i was around 16 walking to school one morning to take exams in a highly stressed emotional state blew out every blub in every streetlight as i walked under it and they never turned back on again this may have been just coincidence that they decided to turn themselves off as i walked under them but it was pretty freaky.

Hmm, ill check that out, that seems pretty interesting. I also notice that usually everytime i touch my cats head i shock him. Only his head though. Often ill turn on lights and they blow, idk its strange, but the weirdest thing so far is blowing a bulb in a lamp in my dream, then waking up and completely disabling a lamp, even after changing the bulb.
