I had a dream a few years ago, that has still stuck with me mainly because of how real and how crazy it was. This dream occurred when I fell asleep in a chair waiting outside my grandfather's (who was dying) room, and it was only visual, not interactive at all. It started with a tiny illuminated pearl, and it grew bigger and bigger and bigger until it was a gleaming whitish gold light that was so bright and intense, I have never seen anything so beautiful, but in the dream I did not even recognize it as a light, then it was as if a camera zoomed and I saw people one of them being my friend's cousin Kiko who had passed away the week before and he was standing there smiling at me and then I woke up, and as soon as I woke up I heard my grandfather wake up shouting "I gotta get out of here" He was dying, and I have been told this is a normal thing for elderly who are in the process. What weirded me out was the timing, I awoke from my dream the same time my grandfather did, and I feel like it was him trying to fight death...maybe I am reading way to into it, but later that day he died. Has anyone else had dreams like this? Or at least had dreams of "going into the light". Just curious to see who else has had similar experiences.

Yes. For a couple of years, I did work as a Healer. In that time, much of my work was done in the Dreamtime and much of that had to deal with helping souls cross over into the next experience. What you describe, I have done conciously 37 times (and failed to do far more times than that). Not for myself, but for others. Your close, physical proximity to your Grandfather made you aware of him. You carried this awareness with you into the Dreamtime. Because of your awareness, you picked up on his own energy and what was happening with him in HIS Dreamtime as his soul prepared to depart his body. This is a good thing for you. You've been given a glimpse of something few people see before they experience it for themselves.

Thanks for your response, this dream by far was the most real, not in our physical sense of reality but very different from my normal dreams, and as I tend to take messages from everything I was beginning to feel like I was making something out of nothing, I will definitely try studying up on this, is there a name for it?

Depends on the Tradition one follows, but for our purposes here, one who assists in the crossing over of souls is called a psychopomp. I know this man and his seminars. The workshops and seminars contain great information and practical learning, but I do no like his bastardization and mixing of indigineous wisdoms and traditions. He has literally stolen bits and pieces of numerous indigineous traditions from around the world and put them together in ways they never should be put together. His work and "foundation" are disrespectful to the Traditions he steals from and he does it without sanction. My recommendation would be to find a Teacher in a singular Tradition that resonates with you - whatever that may be - and follow that Path.

I have had an experience once that I thought was just consciously sleeping. I was in a pitch black space. All of the sudden I saw a pin prick of light in the distance. I couldn't tell whether I was getting closer to the light or if it was getting brighter but it was uncomfortable to look at. At this time I noticed something moving between the light and myself. I looked down and noticed that it I knew her. I knew her as being a little dead girl from another dream with my spirit guide. She was waving her finger and going on a rant. I could not understand her and when I looked down at her I snapped back into my body. I quickly realized that I might not have come back if I had ignored the little girl all together
