      Entities.

I'm sure this has been posted before but I'm to lazy to look.

Well, I have the feeling that something that is not part of my conscious mind is trying to prevent me from remembering my dreams. This isn't just some phony excuse for bad recall. I will wake up, and the dream will go out like a light, I will know I had it, and I will remember a flash of color but that's it. It's like somebody turned out the lights. I'm left with a strong impression of darkness rather than a dream.

Has anybody else experienced something like this before? How did you deal with it? And most importantly does anybody know how to get rid of it.

Am I just being Crazy, or what?

Yes. What does this have to do with entities, anway?? Whatever, so you don't remember any of your dreams?? At all??

This happens if your recall is not good. There is nothing stopping your dreams from fading to nothing except your recall. There is no hostile entities trying to prevent you from remembering a dream. If you wanna remember it, then keep up your dream recall the moment you wake up.

I actually know what you are talking about. This one time I woke up and I almost remembered my dream but it was like something was inside my brain actively blocking the memory. I could feel it almost holding on to the memory and pulling it away from me. I am not sure I would say this was an entity, probably more like a subconscious process, but it was certainly something. Later that same day I did finally remember the dream. It only happened that once, though.

Well, we have dream erasers, so to speak. Their main purpose is to wipe out the memory of the dream, so, that you don't get it confused with RL memories and I'm pretty sure everyone has experienced this. I've had times where I remembered the dream and the next second, I remembered absolutely nothing about it

BTW, I wouldn't revive old threads, since, I'm sure one of the mods will just lock it up anyways
