Thank yeh. It has been a pleasure contributing to the idiocy. I'd like to thank Jesus for this award.
It's about damn time someone saw that.Quote:
Here's a quick summary for those who've missed it so far - trolls trolling people who think they're troll, and both are trolling idiots.
If you can understand what he's saying (and meaning) in every post with crystal clarity, congrats. You are at least one of the following: a fucking genius, God, or Philosopher's alt account. I've read and reread what he's said. I still can't make heads or tails of statements like this:Quote:
Okay, to those who refuse to read philosophers posts because he uses words to big for them, fuck you. Just read carefully, and use a dictionary or google. Alternatively finish primary school.
"tuatologics" doesn't exist in the dictionary. I have no idea what he means by logic systems. Somehow, I think posts like this can be reworded in a way that makes sense. I repeat: if this make sense to you, kudos. But for the average human being, this is nonsense at its finest. I finished with straight A's in high school. I'm not an idiot. But it's posts like these that either need to be taken somewhere else, or "dumbed down" to a point where they make sense. If you're saying Philosopher's statements are works of brilliance and far ahead of his time, then get him to join a forum for the gifted, rather than confusing the good people of a forum for lucid dreaming and making them feel like retards. We came to learn how to have awesome dreams, not get our ears talked off about some ancient irrelevant grammar system by some ego-wanking toad.Quote:
Look at your own body, If a system abstracts form it must supply material to that form to make a thing--this is a tuatologics. If it abstracts material, it must apply form--a relatiologic. As I said, even your own body shows you there are two, and only two primitive logic systems.
I've tried to ignore him. But he's being a pretentious cock all over the forum, and it was high time someone called him out. Looks like I'm not alone in my sentiments, either. People here are not stupid. When a person is saying things that can't be understood clearly by a large population of people, something is askew. If that person claims to be so incredibly intelligent that he solved a 2500 year old riddle, but can't speak like a regular human being, he's just begging to be trolled.Quote:
To those who think people who are actually smart should dumb shit down for them to "fit in", get the fuck out of the gene pool, because it's idiots like you who have brought the world to where it is now. Learn about what they're talking about, or ignore them.
As long as Philosopher keeps flaming, I'm winning. Looks like he was either driven out, or he finally caught on. Either way, good riddance. This thread looked to be headed the way of the dodo. Thanks for giving me a new target. :)Quote:
Everyone here either needs to simply drop out of the thread because A) their troll attempts are not working, because the victims are too stupid, B) they have no idea what they're replying to, and are trying to look impressive, or C) both.
I'm going with Option A, because it's much more fun.Quote:
Now, one of three things will happen here, and they are - A) People will flame me, thinking they're cool, and then the thread will continue, B) this post will be ignored, and the thread will continue, C) people will read this, see what is happening, and the world will be better off for it.
I recall options A, B, and C. Where are these secret 1 and 2 options at? Keep in mind I'm a fucking moron for not being able to understand Philosopher's posts. DerrrrrrQuote:
Now, of course, as we all know, only either options 1 or 2 are plausible, so here's a picture of a cat.
If anyone at all laughed even a little, my job is done.
How could any rational person not fall into hysterics over this thread?
Seriously man, thanks for the read.
And that goes doubly for you, Philosopher. None of this would have proven possible without your insistence on ignoring the pathetic needs of your lowly, shallow-minded readers.
Could I get some of that popcorn?
Also, I am not of the opinion dreams predict the future, but feel free to try and convince me otherwise.
No, one or two of the things philosopher said made sense and were true, and the rest was him trolling. Someone went through and pointed out one or two things that made sense. The "don't expect people to dumb things down" applies to anything else that might happen in this forum. Trolls are simply to be ignored.
Options 1 and 2 are options A and B, of course, silly billy! xD
This whole thread is just trolling, but now that a popcorn image has been found I need to eat some and watch Dexter.
God damn it all.
Also, here's another cat.

Because 80% of the posts here were not reverse trolling, but people being genuinely confused, letting the troll win on forums on forums that are as you said "for lucid dreaming". Surely there must be a different forum for amateurs to practice on?

More cats, people.

That's where the pro trolls should go, rather than the endless stream of newfags we get.
We need a forum between normal people ones and 4chan for people like philosopher.

From what I've noticed, people that bully others physicly are still sorta sane. But people that troll on the internets usually have a very sad life and sad family relationships and ofcourse, they feel no one understands them.
And how, exactly, did you come to this conclusion? A variety of TV shows with bullies in them, and a few news reports about suicidal teens on the internet?
Let's see some actual support to this statement, please, because I've never heard anything sound so ridiculous before.
Oh noes i lost the game =(
Lol I wasn't fighting with either you or AndresLD, I just have the feeling that bullies are there to make submisive people show themselves some lessons of self respect, and about the trolls, I'm saying people that make a profession of being a troll, not trolling now and then.
I have no support to this statement either than my own experience and insight.
I was actually supporting your statement :P
Hug!, yeah I was saying that to DCross.
I meant that I support what Mow said about trolls, they have a sad life. I mean, I'm just judging here, really I don't know the guy, but I felt sorry when I went on philosopher's profile, saw that he is on his 60's, and that the first part of his biography was "Looking for a wife", again, philosopher maybe I'm wrong, maybe you are extremely happy with your life and having a girl is just a not-so-important part of life, but I just couldn't see myself getting to my 60's without a girl.
Wow! Personal attack city! I have to confess that I laughed my ass off while reading some of them. But, was this the thread about dreams about the future? Also I hate to have ripped off not only a whole class of handles or user-names but even misspelled mine because I'm at least partially dyslexic it seems, ie's or ei's are tough! Even more embarrassing is that I thought I was being original when I made it up cause I'm new to these forums and the community of dreamers. I've had cool dreams all my life and started researching LD's after having had them.
Anyway, about the ash cloud and the planes, I think it is possible to read portents for the future in your dreams. I made a post which has so far been avoided like the plague and mentioned that I've dreamed of the future since I was young. Nothing like world events but interactions with people that feel like dejavu when they happen in RL. So I'm saying, yes, dreams foresee the future! It has happened to me repeatedly. I think it has an historical context and everything as in Native American cultures, who give an incredible amount of credence to dreams especially the Iroquios (I read recently) and many other cultures as well. The Bible, for instance, with Daniel and "The writing on the wall" which refers to a dream that foretold of the demise of the Babylonian empire.
If you're interested there are references in Homer and Virgil to two gates through which dreams pass,
Stranger, dreams verily are baffling and unclear of meaning, and in no wise do they find fulfilment in all things for men. For two are the gates of shadowy dreams, and one is fashioned of horn and one of ivory. Those dreams that pass through the gate of sawn ivory deceive men, bringing words that find no fulfilment. But those that come forth through the gate of polished horn bring true issues to pass, when any mortal sees them. But in my case it was not from thence, methinks, that my strange dream came. -Homer, Odyssey
So cheers to 'the gates of polished horn'!
My post is for the benefit of deanmullen, who was quickly shouted down on the basis of modern physics, (of all things!) and not all these people talking about trolls, whatever that is. And if you all can tell I'm a newbie more power to you, congrats!
I lived in Montana for a while and my mom taught a class on Native American studies and one interesting figure she mentioned to me was a chief called Plenty-Coups who was said to have had prophetic dreams. This is an excerpt from an article from an online source, answers.com. I might not write an academic paper with it but you all shouldn't mind its credentials:
Visions Of The Future
Early in his life, Plenty Coups started having prophetic dreams and visions. Many seemed so far-fetched that no one believed them, but when they started coming true his fellow tribe members began to revere him and listened to him carefully:
When he was nine years old, he had a dream where he was told that he had great powers, and that if he used them well he would become a great chief. Later, when he was eleven years old, Plenty Coups went on a vision quest. He had a vision where he saw "many buffalo coming out of a hole. They spread over the plains, then disappeared. Cattle came out of the hole and covered the plains. Winds blew down the trees in the forest. Only one was left standing. In it was the home of the chickadee.”
His vision was interpreted to mean that the white man would take over the Indian lands and their way of life, like the wind that blew down the trees in the forest—all except one, which represented the Crows. The Crow tribe would be spared if they could learn how to work with the white man. His spirit guide then became the chickadee, and he would carry a pair of chickadee legs in a medicine bag he used for protection and spiritual power. This vision would guide his actions for the remainder of his life.
This source names it as a vision but a book that my mom had said that it was a dream. Thought you might find it interesting Dean. If you see things in your dreams that happen, then you are in good company.
Ive had TONS of these kinds of dreams. One day in school, daydreaming, I dreamt that all of the potheads/assholes would get expelled from my school. Even though it was only my fantasies, sure enough, the next day, I hear how all of the kids in the dream got expelled for smoking pot outside of school. The one that didnt get expelled was absent for a month because he fell out of a two story building and had to get surgury. This is just one example of my many stories I have to share, but I want to go to bed and LD already :P. Hope this helps
