im so sorry to hear that ! i hope your friend comes out of it..anything is possible. my dream began as a night mare as well and it was with someone i knew very close to me trying to shot me . and he shot my brother it was just awful, i woke up then fell asleep into the same lucid dream it eventually turned into the most intense dream i ever had but i enjoyed after all the bad stuff happened. it was scary because i woke up and had a bad feeling about my brother right away. i downloaded waking life and am going to watch it tonight, i saw it a few years ago but cant remember it hardly. so hopefully i learn more about it lucid dreams. if you havent seen it i recommend it. just stay positive for your friend.. he needs that the most.
i can relate to your first comment before your dream, my dream last night was so vivid and spectacular i had to make an account. its amazing how dreaming lucidly can effect you in such a way the next day. i wish you the best with your lucid dreams Man you can't believe what happened to me, yesterday i found out that one of my best friends got shot in the chest the night after i had that dream (friday night). He is still holding on in a coma. I am so down right now. i don't believe in seeing the future or whatever, but to know that my friend experienced what i had dreamed of the night before just makes my head explode.
