Actually, being serious... one sentence tells basically the whole situation.

      Cunning is an understatement!
The bit that clinched it was when I had the sweet, (allegedly) innocent, little girl give him a big ol' hug.

It's amazing how much story you can fit into one sentence!
I can't tell if you're being serious or not. XP

Actually, this was one of my more intense and thought provoking dreams. Especially recently.

Believe it or not, this dream more closely resembled reality than most of my other dreams do. Which is weird when you think about it.

Wow, seriously? You dream all this stuff? Wow!

All my dreams are usually set in reality-like situations.

If there are factors manipulating someone into either choice, it's still a choice. Having free will doesn't mean people are going to be smart about it.
Well obviously, but the fact that it's possible to do something like that is just lulzy, IMO.

Don't know much about quantum physics, but I always hated that theory.
Quantum is the only theory we have that can legitimize free will. Under purely Newtonian laws, free will is a laughing matter.

The universe doesn't arrange itself according to my whims, unfortunately.
That's why we've got lucid dreams, neh?

      Haha, fair point.

The impermanence of it all is truly heartbreaking.

There's a problem with lucid dreaming. You can't even live in your dream world in the dream world.

It's as easy to do as IRL, I'd assume. Probably easier, since I've got other tools to work with.

Hm... I think I'm better at inciting chaos than controlling them. My belief in free will is deep-rooted, it seems.

Something to consider for next time. . .
      That it is.

      Yeah, seriously. XP

Luckily, DCs are very susceptible to emotional control. Hell, I could have probably made him want to kill himself, if I desired it. Something to consider for next time. . .

      I fought a man who refused to die, even when I shoved my energy shrouded katana through his heart and tore it up 'till the blade exited through the top of his skull;
It's cheating when they do it.

I should also say the lyrics aren't always perfect. Sometimes a word, note, or phrase is off here and there. But as long as you're able to draw the desired feeling from the song, it doesn't matter too much.

Also, I used the Foo Fighter's Learn to Fly in a lucid the other night to give my 'friends' the power of flight. I'll write that one up eventually, since I completed the basic task in it.

I still find it amazing that you guys can remember song lyrics while you're dreaming.
I love music. Like. A lot.

Plus, I put some work into memorizing certain song lyrics to the point where I know them well enough to use them in dreams.

Hello. I am a box. There is no particular reason that I am a box, I just thought being a box could be rather interesting. It isn't. Do something.

(The image strikes me as amusing. I should try it sometime.)
Haha, yeah, it's fairly random. Let me know how it works out for you.

Hopefully you don't get cut in two or anything. XP

Transformed, behind us, likely screwing around, is Nomad, disguised as a container of sorts...He is clearly goofing off, likely without any grand motivation.

The sight reminds me of how Raven divides herself, which reminds me of the Disturbed song of the same name. Feeling creative, I play through a key part in the song, but change the lyrics ever so slightly to "Form together and combine!"
*shakes head* I still find it amazing that you guys can remember song lyrics while you're dreaming.
