      Don't be angry at yourself that your first lucid dream was scary. Many people can find their first lucid dream frightening. What I recommend is fighting the nightmare, if you ever happen to become lucid during one again. Know that nothing in dreams can harm you, because you're actually still safe and sound in your bed.
      But most of all, don't stop lucid dreaming just because the first time was unpleasant. It'll be completely worth it in the end.
