Hi Eliza. Congrats on the lucid streak! I had a dream involving oatmeal and "red food" as well last night. I just thought it was an interesting coincidence.

I think it's because of Easter -- like your dream said. In my first dream, I was celebrating a "ceremonial dinner," which I obviously should have recognized as Easter. But in my second dream I was making sack lunches, which included oatmeal bars with red jelly.

Anyway, I think the significance of Easter is with Communion and the whole story of the Last Supper. Obviously in Communion the wafer is Jesus' flesh and the wine is his blood.

So, in your dream, oatmeal and couscous would be the flesh, and tomato sauce would be the blood. In my dream, oatmeal would be the flesh and red jelly would be the blood. I do find it kind of interesting, though, that, where wine is a "drink," tomato sauce and red jelly would be more of a "food." I don't know the significance of that.

Anyway, I just thought it was an interesting coincidence, so I thought I'd share my thoughts on the images with you. Have a good day.
