My dream journal....

August 4th, 2011 not lucid

I'm at mcdonalds (either at the drive through or inside). My dad asks what I want. I say water. (p.s. I barely remember this part)

Next, I'm walking out of a building with my parents. It might be a hotel, but I'm not sure. I tell my parents how weird it is that there's a huge mirror right in front of us that looks exactly like whatever's behind it. (in the dream, the mirror was more like a very clean window.) *I tell my mom, "I can just see an architect going 'hehe, I'll put a mirror right here so everyone walks into it!'" (I said this with my voice all wobbly, to make it sound like the architect was laughing, but it sounded more like a goat). My mom apparently thought that was funny and repeated it with the same voice, noting how she thought it was funny how I thought architects speak.*

Next, I'm in my dads truck outside the building. My sister is now there, and I kind of just know that we're going to a softball game (and I remember earlier my parents said that we would only be gone for two hours, which for some reason was hard to believe.). As we drive, I have trouble putting the water I got from mcdonalds into the cup holder. This fades away as the car turns north. Someone points out something in the sky that looks like a vapor trail, but it is really close to the ground (only a couple yards). Looking at it, I notice how wobbly it is, and then I remember seeing two parallel tracks in the ground further back on the road, and realize that the plane probably crashed there. I also notice that the vapor trails start kind of on the road and that the plane probably took off there.*

As we keep driving north, we also notice more vapor trails at the side of the road. It looks like there might be a cliff where the side of the road ended, and that planes just flew around next to the cliff, and hardly ever seemed to go above the road (at least, that's what I infered from the random vapor trails and fogginess to my left.)*

We kept driving and noticed one more cool thing. We were at a point where everything around us is a couple feet lower than the road itself. To our left we see something really cool. It's a field, with irrigational looking devices going across it. The devices were emitting some sort of fog or mist that made really interesting patterns. I thought about how much I wanted to see this place in the morning (because it wouldve looked really cool). But then the dream ended...
