I wouldn't stress about this too much man. Weird stuff can happen in dreams... like really weird stuff. I've had to omit a few entries in my DJ because they were so disturbing and wouldn't be tasteful enough for people to read. However I chalk it all up to the negative randomness that brain can cook up.
First of all I had watched a little bit of Freeman's mind series, from which I know the main character is named Gordon Freeman. I, however, wasn't doing anything HL-related at all for more than three months (I remember downloading Garry's Mod, but that's not important, that's long time ago), neither people reminding me anything about Half Life at all (including showing me anything from game). I know that those things in original game were attacking people, not machines, they were jumping after face I think. Yes, I am processing something now. School year is ending in one week and I am going to start uploading Let's Plays. What am I doing now is thinking of all details for those videos - intro, outro, catchphrases, people to play with, games themselves etc.... It is most of time mentally exhausting, so yes, I'd say the subconscious would like to tell me something about those.
There's a "dream interpretation" section on the forum of this website, perhaps you can post any dreams you have there. It sounds like you're processing a lot of events from your daily life, such as school life, parents, home, teachers, students, and even being in a cafeteria. This is not unusual. I am less sure about the space alien dream. You do seem familiar with the "Half-Life" game, enough to be familiar with the characters from it. I had to look it up myself -- I had never even heard of the game. Maybe even though you don't play it, you had enough exposure to it from your friends playing the game on computers around you at school?
