ElectroDream

Ok so as I am still working on getting my school sleeping pattern back in order and I had a late night at my friends house the night before, a few details are pretty hazey and I cannot remember any previous dreams as I had a lie in rather than writing what happened straight away.

So from where I remember me and a group of other guys were in some sort of large "bad guy's lair" type building and we had sealed our selves off into a room in the building. I'm not sure whether we were armed or not, but one of the other guys in the group stated that we would need to hold off whoever the enemies were (I cannot remember) until backup arrived. Having watched Battle: Los Angeles the night before it was hardly surprising that this moment in my dream was very similar to the final hold off scene in the movie. I remember at first we drew some curtains and shut some doors in order to remain as elusive as possible while the enemies were scouring the building for us. At some point during this we were found and my squad were fending off the bad guys. I can't remember how, but I found myself at the bottom of an elevator shaft in a basement separated from my group. I began to climb the side of the shaft when I noticed something constantly splashing on my back. I turn round whilst still holding on to my makeshift ascent ladder (using support beams) and realised that one of the enemies was shooting at me from the other side of a large barred opening that lead to outside. It turns out he was shooting blue painballs but they kept exploding on the bars before they got near me and therefore I was only getting hit by the splashes of paint. I then quickly ascended up the shaft and suddenly found myself instead ascending the side of a cliff very rapidly on what seemed like a calm and foggy day. when I finally reached the top i was unable to control my momentum and crashed out in front of a set of swings. I group of my friends and people I know from school were on them and I had to lie on the floor to avoid being hit by them. One of the girls jumped down on to me (not deliberately) and started laughing. We had a somewhat flirty conversation (which I enjoyed ofc lol) and she finding excuses to break the touch barrier. I'm certain at this point I drifted out of this dream as I probably got a little too overwhelmed that this girl who ignores me in real life was suddenly getting so friendly. I was tired though, and tried to think my way back into the dream scene. I did land back in the same dream but in a second hold off battle scene again, this one being almost exactly like the one in Battle: Los Angeles, except it was at night time, the sky was thick with smoke and the only light was coming from burning rubble around what appeared to be a semi-underground car park that we were in. The battle began as I cut to a scene where I was now flying in a very high up metropolis and then back to shooting some enemies in the carpark. Once the battle was over we all cheered and started talking as I suddenly found myself in a mix of the elevator basement from earlier and the high up metropolis scene. I noticed also that one of us from the group was my friend Charlie (who has been in a previous dream of mine too). I then woke up.

Once again a rather unusual dream which was great fun, but I wish I had been lucid in order to extend the swing scene and actually practise talking and being comfortable with this girl from my school. Oh well. I'm starting to pick up some re-occurring elements in my dreams, one of them being the fact that my two best mates keep appearing, so I'm probably going to start doing some subtle reality checks when I'm with them from now on.



This is somewhat what the final scene environment looked like except the light was coming from fire.
