    Trauma on the bus

    Trauma on the bus
I start my dream from my own perspective not from some out of body perspective. I'm on a bus getting ready to go somewhere but looking back, I'm not really sure where. Although my dream self considers this a bus it's really more or a train.

No one is buckled, the buckles aren't even connected to the seats. Instead this “bus” has these blue little straps hanging from the walls. The buckles aren't that of a conventional seat belt either. They are a buckle I've never seen before, perhaps a strap designed by my subconscious, they don't look very safe.

We are moving at this point and I'm facing the traffic behind us. This strange bus appears to be driving sideways but I'm not really taking much note of this and don't seem alarmed in the slightest.

We get a message over the intercom to prepare for impact. There's going to be an accident. At first it's puny, barely an accident at all. Everyone starts cheering! We survived and really dodged a bulletin there.
Then we get a message again, that we are about to be in a much bigger accident. We start free falling down this extrememely steep hill. Out the window I can see that we are flying past cars. I run over to one of those straps and it doesn't fit around me, so I wrap it up in my hand and then sit in my seat. My back is pinned up against the seat. If we hit something going this fast I'm done.

People start calling their loved ones.

I grab my phone to call and say “call Ann Boon”, my phone responds “calling Ann Boon”. My mom answers the phone normally and I quickly tell her I'm about to die. I say good bye. She calmly asks me why, the whole time I can tell she's struggling to stay calm.

We start smashing through things, but we aren't getting hurt. It's very loud. My mom still on the line is doing a fantastic job keeping her cool.

    We come to a halt…

We all look around waiting for another message over the intercom, but there is nothing.

    We survived!!

I'm in my seat, everyone is so happy we survived. I look up at the ceiling and this long plasma TV starts playing a video. Its a thumbnail photo of every U.S. president that ever lived. We are notified that all of them are here to shake our hands.

    I wake up
