Paintball + DILD Lucid + Snakes in my room

I've been lazy recording my dreams so I may as well catch up now. I've been listening to the Inception soundtrack, which has inspired me!

A couple a days ago I had my longest dream I've had for a while, unfortunately its been a few days so I've probably lost some details. I remember going to my local paintball course and finding out that they had new paintball guns. These guns could hold a much larger amount of ammo, but we were not allowed to take any extra ammo onto the field when we used them. I fired off a few shots from the edge of the course to test it. It looked and felt just like the regular guns. There were only a few people with me at the time. None of my usual paintballing friends were there.

    Later on...
Something was happening. I think I was in a house. I remember thinking "This is probably a dream." That caused me to pause and realised that this was definitely a dream! When I became lucid I was standing in the laundry of the house I was in. At this point I paused to take in the incredible clarity of the surroundings. I'm usually bad at maintaining lucidity, so I tried to engage my dream senses as much as possible. This seemed to solidify the dream, but I was still scared to close my eyes in case I lost the dream. This wouldn't be a problem for most people, but my most reliable way of teleporting in dreams is to place a portal on a wall and travel through it to my destination. I can only seem to do this with my eyes closed, hence my dilemma.

Instead, I decided to try a few other tricks that I have heard about. I had a look in the laundry cupboards to see if I could find anything awesome to help me teleport. Unfortunately I only found normal laundry stuff. Another technique I have heard is to reach into your pocket and pull out a button. The button is then able to do anything that you want. I tried reaching into my pocket, but again had no luck. By this point I was getting annoyed at my complete lack of dream powers. Not too much later I woke up. I'm pretty sure I woke up into another dream, as in the morning I had nearly forgotten that lucid.

    Last night:
I had a few dreams, but this one is the most clear as I was still having it when I woke up. I was at a beach with a few of my friends. We found a place just behind some sand dunes to chill and hang out at.

Much later I returned to the beach with my friends (I think they were still the same ones). We tried to find the same spot behind the dunes, but the tide had come in a lot. We found the spot, but now we had to wade through water to get there. We climbed through a tunnel in the sand dune to get there. I ended up climbing into a sand-dune-cave (which was not what we were at before). One other person climbed in too. It was very cramped (you had to crawl to fit in) and we were unlikely to fit anyone else in there. I saw a small snake in the cave. It started moving towards me. I told the other person in the cave to get out of the cave, as I couldn't get out while they we still in there. Then the snake then crawled into my pants. It looked like a diamond python, but I didn't want to take any chances. I slowly and carefully crawled out off the cave so that I didn't disturb the snake in my pants.

When I crawled out of the cave I was back in my room at home. I got the snake out of my pants and threw it on the floor. The snake grew to about 50cm and turned into a rattle snake. I was unsure what to do about the snake in my room. Someone (who was also in my house), told me I should just take the snake outside and kill it. I didn't want to try that as I was concerned that the snake was deadly. The person grabbed a shovel and killed the snake in my room. I was happy that the snake was finally dead. I think the person then asked if I had any more snakes in my room. I said I didn't think so, but they had a look any way. As they looked at the foot of my bed a huge (at least 3m) yellow-bellied black snake reared out from under some boxes at the foot of my bed. The person leapt back in surprise and started fighting the snake. At this point I woke up.

For the next 10 or 15 mins I kept checking behind my back for snakes, even though I knew I was awake!

Wow this is an impressive entry! It's so annoying when you finally become lucid in a dream and then you have no control over it to do anything cool! You should have tried running through the walls! Or walking through the doors?

Hahaha that snake dream sounds intense! I can't think of any worse dream (except maybe demon possession)!
