My first experience with sleep paralysis.

Cut to - I'm lying face down in a hallway in my house. There is only one light on, above me, the rest of the house is dark. I breath through my nose. My eyes are shut; despite my intel of the surroundings. I notice I can not move. My heart-rate increases and I go into a state of panic.
I am now in my bed, my face is buried in my pillow. My eyes and mouth are open. I still can not move, more so, I feel someone is hovering over me pressing my head down and keeping me from getting up. I tell myself I can not breathe. I'm convinced it's a ghost, I almost make myself see one.
I am still in my bed. My body's position is instantaneously inverted. I am released from my 'possession' and wake up to find my clothes are damp and I have been sleeping on my back. It's morning, I have been asleep for hours. There is an overwhelming feeling that this twenty seconds of paralysis has been stretched over the six hours of sleep that I know I've had.
This magnitude of paralysis has never happened to me since.
