In this dream I am not able to go to sleep or get any peace and quiet because I have neighbors who are playing really loud music and the music is really bad. Then Joe (from work) goes and tells the neighbors that they need to turn it off and they do. My brother Jefferson is also there and his old roommate, Brandon, and they're playing a video game. The dream ended with some word, "Mognodanous." I woke up with that word, which is a fake word that I guess I made up in the dream. (As an afterthought, it sounds a lot like monotonous) In the dream, my neighbors were from India.
In a different dream we're living in the Summer Drive house and I had just gotten home from school or work, and as soon as I get home I want to listen to my new song. I want to listen to it out in my car to see what it sounds like on those speakers. So I run outside to my car, but it's not my regular car, it's some sports car. I go to open the door and there's vines with thorns on them all over the car. I cannot get in. Then Jefferson comes over and says, "I need a clip." I don't know what that means. (now I see he meant like hedge clippers to cut the vines.) A neighbor then made a joke that went, "I got a clip", then he was making noises with his mouth like a machine gun. Then we're looking up at the roof of the neighbors' house across the street and there's water all over the roof. Then I remember me and Jeff and our neighbors from across the street walking down the street together talking. Jeff's telling them about the Ziemba family and how we've always been close to them. Also we were talking about me, Jeff, and Carrie, and what makes each of us unique, what we're all like. Somebody says that I have a crazy personality. Then Jeff says that Carrie is "the bad guy." And I say, "No, Jeff, I think you're the bad guy." (In reality, none of us are "bad guys.") The neighbor tells us not to worry about the water that's on the roof of his house. He says that's normal in this neighborhood.
I remember being in a library and I was looking for some book by Steven King, but I couldn't find it. Then I think maybe it's listed under a different name, cause I remember he had a different name that he wrote under. I don't remember what it actually was, but in the dream it was Richard Dodkins. So then I'm trying to look for that name on the shelves, and i still can't find it. There was a girl about my age, maybe a little bit younger, and she's talking to somebody who works in the library. She tells them that she's doing better, she's reformed, and that Jesus Christ is the One.
I think I was throwing TV dinners from a distance of about ten or twenty yards, throwing them into these slots like cubby holes. Just chunkin them. And then I remember heating one up and eating it, just eating my dinner. And somebody came by and asked if I was cooking my dinner and I was like, "Yep. Sure am."
Another fragment came to me. I remember trying to explain to somebody that in hip hop, in rap music, more than any other genre, songs are in minor keys instead of major keys.
