I was originally going to ONLY put epic and adventurous dreams in here, but that seemed counterproductive, so here i will put all of my dreams, and label the epic ones as epic.
~This is what happened after a transition from the scene in my last post. (where it gets fun ^.^) Consciousness of the scene slowly faded in to me, and I saw that I was at a pool party with several of my friends. I went to get one of my buddies to swim with me, but he walked up to me before I even started to search, so we dove in. Once we were under the surface, the scene shifted again (but not much) to show that I was now underwater in the ocean, among many small fish in the murky water. I swam around with super speed for awhile, chasing fish and enjoying being able to breathe freely underwater, but eventually I decided to go back to the surface. The closer I got to the surface of the water, the clearer the water became, until it was simply shimmering air to my eyes. I broke out of the water, and I saw that I was now at the beach with the same person I had chosen to go swimming with, and two other guys that seemed familiar. There was also a crowd of people standing a few feet away from us, looking on as if they expected something to happen soon. It was then that a rather large airboat with only four seats drove itself up beside us, and the two guys jumped in the front seat and the passenger seat before speeding away, nearly knocking me down with the power of the airboat fan. As they sped away, a RC car controller flew out of the backseat and landed at my feet. I picked up the controller to see what it controlled, and as I turned the wheel and squeezed the throttle, I discovered that it controlled the airboat. I played with the two guys on the airboat for a few minutes, terrorizing them with high speeds and sharp turns, but eventually I brought the boat back so that I could get in too. Once in the boat, I drove off at a slow speed in the direction of the open ocean, increasing my speed as I went until I was going so fast that the boat would have flown if I hadn't kept it down. (This is where my control starts to catch up with me.) I continued to speed along until I decided that I wanted something extreme, so I simply pictured a giant tidal wave appearing, and a massive wave rose out of the ocean. It could have easily drowned a couple Sears towers. The airboat shot up the tidal wave, and when it reached the summit, it continued on, flying into the air, up, up, until gravity caught up with us and took us on the adrenaline-pumped descent. And that was basically the end to that dream. I drove around on the airboat for a few more minutes, but I woke up after that. By far the coolest thing about this dream was the free-fall that I went through on the way up and down on the airboat--it was like one of those rides at an amusement park that takes you up and then drops you back down, except faster, and I wasn't buckled in xD BEST FALL EVER!! Last thing! This dream was also really exciting for me because it's showing the increased amount of control that I'm having in Lucid dreams since learning these techniques and being on this site. I wasn't expecting much improvement in control this soon after being on this site and learning these techniques, but they've clearly already made some progress, so I'm happy ^_^
This dream began non-lucid, and the starting point was on a small sand dune in the desert. Off to one side of the desert, I could see a thick jungle that began right where the desert ended--side by side, as if there had been a line drawn between the two biomes. I headed off towards the jungle (still not lucid yet), and as I began to explore the hanging vines, trees, and the like, DILD kicked in. However, my idiot self completely forgot to stabilize the dream, so I pretty much just continued right on after I gained lucidity, thinking, "Cool!" I continued walking through the jungle, now in control of my actions, but not exerting the amount of control that I could have if I had stabilized the dream. I came to an area that had no trees, but there were vines hanging down everywhere, so I decided to test my control on them. (I was completely unaware at the time that I had forgotten to stabilize.) I began to walk among the vines, attempting to instantly change them into another object, material, or substance, touching them as I tried to shift them. The first vine I touched I tried to turn into a chain, and nothing happened, so I walked on,a bit disappointed, and touched the next one, focusing on making it into an orange-colored vine. Nothing happened to this one either, so I turned around to try and change another vine just by looking at it, but as I turned to look behind me, I saw that the first vine had changed into a chain while my back was turned! I took a second to process that, then I turned around to look at the vine I had just touched, and I saw that it had changed to a bright-orange vine when I had looked away. At this point, I was getting a little annoyed, as if my control was mocking me, so I ran through the mass vines, brushing my hands over as many as I could, thinking of all the minecraft blocks I could as I touched the different vines. As I expected, (sadly) no vines changed instantly as I had intended, but they were all changed to exactly what i pictured when I touched them once I turned around to survey the [very annoying] delayed reaction. I was going to continue to try and instantly shape things, but the scene began to shift, and I couldn't do anything to stop it considering that I hadn't even stabilized it in the first place. The dream continued and got much more exciting from there, but this entry is already fairly long, and the laptop I'm using is about to die, so I will continue into the awesome part of this dream as soon as I can get a hold of a computer for a good half hour. Please leave your thoughts and comments on my retardation at not having stabilized and the strangeness of the delay that I experienced during this dream. Thanx!
This is the first entry to my dream journal, and it's the only Lucid dream that I'll put in here that happened in the past. Everything else will be a dream I have within a week of when it's posted. It didn't start out as an LD, and I was wondering through a forest of Bamboo. I came upon a small pond with the bamboo slightly cleared around it, and as I started towards it, a tiger poked it's head out of the bamboo. I felt kind of scared then, but as it leaned it's head in closer to mine, the fear slowly dissipated, until I was looking at the Tiger as I would an old friend. Then, it spoke, and I can't exactly recall what it said, but it was one word, and for the sake of the story, I'll say that it said "Waken". Anyway, after it said the word, I gained Lucidity right there. All of a sudden, the colors became sharper, everything was more focused and bright, and that wave of happiness and excitement that you get when you become lucid (especially for the first time) washed over me, and it woke me up.
