Mystical journeyman

It was a tourist attraction, so I was following the path laid out for visitors. As I walked however, the authorities continued blasting away at the cliff face, so the soil was disappearing from under my feet, revealing a sheer drop onto the rocks below. I recognized this (vertigo) as my main dream sign. I was reluctant to go back, as this was an outhorized tourist route and so therefore must be safe, but after recognizing the sign and becoing semi-lucid thought better of it and went back- not without having to clutch at the grass to avoid falling to my depth. Moral: don't trust the authorities!
