. Sleeping is fun
Dreamed: 5.8.2012, Written:5.8.2012. I was sitting in front of my computer, I was watching a YouTube video, I accidentally turned up the volume to the max, I knew the sound will be quite loud so I quickly pressed the mute button on my keyboard. I remembered that I never experience a volume change delay on YouTube, I have only experienced that while changing the volume on the VLC media player. I then pressed the off button on my speaker, there's a green light right on my speaker that only works when my speaker is on. The light was still on when I turned off the speaker. And I remember saying/thinking "Well, if that doesn't make sense, does anything?". And I became vaguely lucid, everything turned to black, I don't know if I got excited or scared, the whole memory of the dream is quite vague. I still felt lucid though and didn't wake up, I probably could've entered a lucid dream if I was more aware of the situation I am in. Even in this void I remember moving my shoulder, or at least the feeling of moving my shoulder. And i thought "Ha, lets try and guess in which position I'm currently sleeping". I felt like I had a choice between waking up and going lucid, I remember being scared and waking up.

Dreamed: 30.7.2012, Written: 30.7.2012. Ugh, this one is going to be hard to explain, mostly because it doesn't even make a lot of sense to me. I have been called to a nursing home, when I came there, I saw my grandfather anxiously walking up and down a high tower of spiraling stairs, well, not very high, but quite. They came from a little house up high. I think grandfather was whispering nonsense as he went up and down the stairs. I remember the nurse that met me there telling me that he hit his head, ans since then started talking nonsense. He said something along the lines of "I've got a gummy in the head and now ...", I can't remember the rest. I then came up the stairs, then suddenly my other grandfather appeared there. My grandfather was running around up and down the stairs anxiously, I told him to slow down and the other grandfather answered, he said "Don't worry, you know I'm not going to fall.", and he smiled. Then I said "Well, you're not the one I'm worried about". I then skip a few scenes, I am standing near a playground, it feels very familiar, I am sure I've seen it before, in my dreams. It only had one swing, though, my grandpa was swinging there. I remember two or three people with me, I don't remember them at all, not even a concept of a face. I only remember that one of them was a female, the color yellow comes up when I think about her. My grandpa suddenly got terrified and paranoid and shouted "the tiny eyes! they have come for me!". I then saw what I think was a reflection on my glasses, I saw a pair of eyes in the reflection, I then came to the conclusion that my grandpa has developed a fear of shadows and reflections, I told the yellow female to look these symptoms up on her smart phone. I remembered more before but I don't now. This was an odd dream.

A few dreams from my physical dream journal. I'm going to start writing here from now on, I realized that my handwriting is barely readable. Here are the dreams I currently have written in my journal: DREAM 1 Dreamed: Unknown, Written: 27.7.2012. I was in the living room, the light was off, it was also off in the kitchen, which is sort of connected to the living room. There is a big glass door in the living room which leads to another room, it doesn't really have a purpose, we just store various things there. The light was on in there, I saw it through the glass door. I tried turning the lights on in the living room by using the switch, it didn't work. After a couple of failures, i gave up. I tried turning the lights on in the kitchen, it also didn't work. I found it weird that only the glass door room light was working, I then "semi" realized that I am dreaming and suddenly rushed upstairs to my room. When in my room I built a wall where my "door hole" is, (I don't have a door in my room). I think I might have been wearing big grey or black gloves. After blocking the doorway,I felt that I am not really lucid, that the dream isn't stable at all, which was true. I then started looking at the huge tree outside my window, I tried to focus as hard as I could and receive all the detail possible to become more aware, I don't remember it very well, but the tree was beautiful and extremely colorful. That is the last thing I remember before waking up. It was all very sudden, irrational and just very blurry.
