Dreamz

Dreamed: 23.1.13, Written: 24.1.13

I am in my room, I don't remember if I just woke up (In the dream "plot") or if I just got up from sitting infront of my computer. What happened next isn't very clear to me, it might just not have made sense or I might not remember it well. There are two lights in my room, a main light stuck to my ceiling, and a dimmer light above my bed. The light that was currently on in my room was the dimmer light, I'm pretty sure. I got up and went to the light switches to turn the main light on. Once I did that a weird flow of thoughts rushed into me and I for some reason realized I was dreaming. I think I remember one of the switches not working, thought I remember both of them working too, but I won't dwell too much into that because I really don't remember what exactly had happened. So I became aware that I am dreaming, somehow. And I remember feeling that things were quite vivid, and I remember looking at my hands.
I think this was the most vivid a dream of mine that I can recall had ever been, and that's a good step I suppose. I also drank green tea before going to sleep, I don't know if it could have made and kind of difference there, but I think it might have. I'll try to drink green tea before going to sleep now, and post results tomorrow.

I'm also going to stop colour tagging my posts with blue meaning lucid and red meaning otherwise. It feels to me that the line between lucidity and "regular" dreaming is far too blurred, and I think the color coding isn't really a good idea. I'll try to describe my dreams as much and as well as I can, as for me, and for other people reading to understand quite clearly what state of mind I was in in the dreams I write about.
