I've got lots to catch up on in entering my DJ here. Each post will be one night's dreams.

I dreamed of a movie theatre at a mall. It was dark and grimy even outside the theatres. I saw my cousin in one of the theatres as I wandered around and decided I should pay before I watch a movie. I head toward the lobby and stop by a bar area to get a drink. A man who'd been sitting next to my cousin followed me out and started taking jabs at me in conversation because I wasn't drinking alchohol. He was surly and got escorted away by the staff. Spilled some of his drink. I went to pay for the movie and had several conversations with staff, but can recollect little of the content. Some of them were talking about a closure, some were talking about me or at least seemed to know of me, and some were talking about an old folks home that housed retired military personel. I walked through the circular doors clockwise despite the fact that counter-clockwise would have taken me back to my destination faster. I ended up in some random course that was actually outside and had events I had to participate in. I don't remember precisely what they were, but I know my actions in one somehow left the attendant there in disgust. /shame...

I dreamed of magic and using the power to speed from rooftop to rooftop in the night. There were three of us? I don't remember any specific descriptions. There was a fight at the end of this dream but it was early in the knight and despite some incredible imagery, the means to describe it has faded.

I dreamed of a movie theatre (again?) / speed dating thing. Which ... didn't even work in a dream. We would try and somehow meet someone at random in the dark in a movie theatre while it was playing... without moving. We'd occasionally switch movies.

I dreamed I was in North Carolina and we owned a football team... which we had apparently buried underground years ago. We excavate them and they're fine. Somehow doing that gives us a power overtime and life and death. So we take a vacation to a lush and beautiful beach. The hills were a verdant green, and the sea was the perfect blue you rarely see in real life. It was apparently a vacation spot with pristine buildings near the shore and the path to the beach was both a trail for riding animals (and exotic mounts as they said in a commercial in the dream which included killer whales) as well as a tram. We ended up being pursued by someone who desired the power we had. We ended up in a duel on a train somehow. I somehow think FF VI music was playing? Decisive Battle maybe? I get that impression... The remainder of the dream was a constant shifting combat. I was a with a girl and our powers required the pair of us to work. The opposition were identical twins, one male, one female. My ally or I would take damage, but the other could reverse it. We repeatedly sacrificed ourselves while leaping to obtain some object that they'd taken, relying on our partner to revive us. The enemy was very fast and agile and had set up traps ahead of time causing the fight to become extended and acrobatic. Flips, dodges, jumping from one train car to the next, battles for control over gasoline and fire and containment of the enemy that simply wouldn't die or stay dead. Eventually with the female pair, locked in combat in one compartment, and I and the other confronting one another in the other I refused to make a motion to kill him, but he didn't give me the same regard. His actions backfired and he was engulfed in flames. I woke up here.
