Day 2: No LD's last night, and again, 7 dreams recalled.

The most unclear was something about looking in a freezer... I don't remember what was in it.

(I have 2 bearded dragons in my room, and I occasionally dream about them) The next one, one of my dragons was standing up on its hind legs (something they can't do IRL). It was my smaller one, but in my head I knew it was my bigger one(??). I tried to lay him down but he resisted. I was in my basement, then later another dream I was in my room with him. He tried eating a little piece of styrofoam but I opened his mouth and I think he dropped it.

Another dream I had an extra tank(reptile tank), as I often have the wrong number/size of tanks in my dreams. It was empty, except for a bunch of very large crickets(more things that aren't the right size). I then realized that I had this tank for keeping 3 or 4 baby bearded dragons(not IRL). And that the crickets must have gotten so big because they weren't eaten so they had lived for too long. I couldn't see the baby bearded dragons, and worried they had died or were starving because their food was too big. I put my bigger dragon in the tank and he began eating the crickets. Then my smaller one was out of hers and in this one too(??). The larger one chased her for some reason and I separated them.

I then dreamed I was watching a weird show that my stepdad had put on. I didn't know what it was, but as I looked closer it was an old man on a rocky shoreline. He was trying to protect it or something, and was earth bending to push back the tide and make the land stick out further??

Another fuzzy one: I was in my basement with my pull up bar set up, and asked my friend if she had ever heard of a ______ (I don't remember what I said, just that it was something made up). She thought for a second and said something about a pull-up. I said yes and jumped up to the bar(its easily reachable IRL) and did a weird type of pull up(??)

Then I was in some sort of apartment complex and didn't know who lived there. I entered someone's apartment because I thought a friend had told me to but no one was with me(??) It was small and I didn't look around, but went outside on the walkway(it was the second story). I went up the stairs to the third floor and got on the roof, then down, then back on the roof again. I'm not sure why... I got down and went back into the apartment and the bed was in the main room for some reason, and I contemplated doing a backflip off of it. (I can do them IRL) But then I heard them coming home and I slipped out the back door. I went down and looped around another building, then back to the front of the building, although I should have just left. The door was open and it was my friend, in the same room I was just in except it had moved from the second floor to the ground floor(??). I suddenly had a balloon/stick thing in my hand. It was one of a pair that you bang together at sports games to make noise. I had some about 6 years ago, not sure if they make them anymore. This should have been a dream sign, because it just appeared in my hand. It was his, and I said something weird like, "did you lose this?" so they wouldn't think I had been in their apartment. But then I heard my phone get a text message, and my cell phone and car keys were in his apartment(??). He was laughing but knew I was in there and said, "what did you do?" and then there was a really weird lady there and she said it again, "yeah, what did you do?" and the dream ended.

My final dream was a false awakening, and I started writing down these dreams in my dream journal. I woke up later to see the page blank and started over.

Dreams Recalled: 7

4 or 5 were in the same place, but the people, situation, feeling, lighting, time of day, etc. kept changing. Not sure what counts as a separate dream but I recalled 7 distinct events.

I was in a house, one I had never been to. There was a guy my age that I had met 3 or 4 months ago when I stayed in a frat house for a few days at a college I might transfer to. He was talking to a woman about not wanting to give up/share his room. They didn't talk to or look at me, but I assumed me and family were staying there and he had to sleep on the couch or something.

Then I was outside for some reason. I think I was at the same house but I'm not sure... I was pulling weeds and 3 of my friends drove up. I talked to one for a couple seconds and the dream ended.

I was then in a different house I think... I was training for some kind of fighting in the living room. I had strange, large pads on my forearms and was blocking strikes from someone. There were girls my age on the couch watching tv but I didn't recognize any of them. I picked up some things off the floor in front of them, but I don't know why. Then I was watching a commercial on the tv, but the screen filled my vision and I couldn't see anything else. I don't remember what the commercial was about.

Another dream I was still inside, but unsure if it was one of the previous houses, or a different one. I was in the kitchen and it was now night and dark outside and inside as well. I felt the presence of a threat outside, and somehow knew that a villain from Batman, Poison Ivy, was outside and trying to get us (WEIRD!). There were no lights on in the house, and a small girl was near me. She was only 4 or 5 years old. She went into a dark room and I tried to tell her not to, but out of my fear I left her and went back into the kitchen.

Another dream I was texting a female friend of mine, who seemed very interested in me, which made me happy but the dream ended quickly.

And lastly, although I think this was my first dream of the night... I had fallen to sleep wanting to have a lucid dream, but didn't know what I wanted to do. I went with the first thing that came to mind: earth bending from avatar: the last airbender. I was a big fan of the show when I was younger. Not only was my dream NOT lucid, and I couldn't earth bend, but I ended up being attacked by 3 earth benders. >.<


My first night of trying for a lucid dream, no luck. Happy with 7 recalled dreams on my first dream journal entry however.
