In the past year I started having dreams about an old boyfriend I dated right before I met my husband. Usually the dreams involve the bf just being present, sometimes we kiss, other times we converse casually. These dreams always prompt old memories and I end up feeling anxious for the next few weeks. The most recent dream was much more real than any of the others.
In my dream its daytime and the bf and I are the living room of a house I've never been in. I'm wearing a bath robe and jeans. We are holding each others arms and I say to him "I think about you a lot". He says "I know". I ask "How could you possibly know that?" and he replies "I know you". Next I'm sitting in an arm chair and he's leaning over me in a protective stance. At that time my husband walks in the room and I say something.
What does this all mean?? Do I miss the bf? Do his memories provide something I'm not getting in marriage!!??
