Here is the dream I had last night involving the old boyfriend I dream about frequently. I woke up today less anxious and more expentant than usual.
I'm in a house that is also a school, I am the same age as I am now. I am interacting with an older man aho is known for his temper and has a history of assaulting women. I manage to have a benign conversation with him and am unharmed. I am recounting this story to my Mom when he man walks into the room we are in (the kitchen, yellow curtains, small retro table and one stool by the window) and heads in our direction. At that moment bf also appears, walks over to Mom and I. I reach to hold his hand but the other man attempts to prevent that. Bf pushes the man's hand away and holds my hand.
The scene changes to a group of us outside (I do not recognize any of the people from my real-awake life), sitting and standing on the steps to the house/school discussing a mission we must go on. Bf is not wearing a shirt and has put his arms around me protectively. The scene again changes to us all making various enterences to our mission site. There is a large airplane-like structure "docked" on a muted grey platform that has 3 riser-steps and trees. People are exiting the structure and are walking around the platform, where there are small pools and buffet tables. My "team" is sneaking around the platform. We have to be cautious because Jason Bateman is there ans he will recognize us. We start to leave when I realize I have to find bf. I tell everyone that he's wearing a yellow shirt and I need to find him because I haven't kissed him yet.
I search for him outside of the platform area and run into 2 guy friends from high school (that I haven't seen or talked to since graduation over 15 years ago). We all hug. They ask about the dome and platform and if its worth waiting in line to go in. They decide not to wait. I turn and see bf walking down a hallway but I can't get his attention. I find the last member of my team and we head back to the house/school through a secret bathroom stall. Bf is waiting for me when we return. He pulls me into an embrace and we finally kiss.
