Hey wats up everybody. Iv'e never done anyting like this before. I enjoy dreaming and lucidity and wanted to part of a community that has the same feelings. I believe that dreams accuarelty reflect our emotions, fears, goals in life, memorys, and desires. based on wat we know, wat we believe in, the knowledge we have, and our imagination, our brain combines all of these things and projects them in our mind like a movie for us to either watch or control while we sleep, or be a part of while we sleep. of course this may not be true at all but this is wat i belive to be fairly accurate. im and openf or any comments of any nature bcause the reason we are all here is to understand our dreams and ourselves. Id like to point our the fact that most of my dreams take place in the waking world envoirment. this means that there are no impossible building structures, people look, talk and act normal. they have clothes, they have hair, they have speech. gravity is normal. the sky is blue and so forth and so forth. now here are a couple interesting notes. 99 percent of the time its first person. most text and traffic signs are in english and not distorted. its a very real setting and while i might seem boring it isnt. of course when i do achieve lucidity then things get interesting. while some people may say that lucidity is either 100 or zero i dissagree. here is my rationale behind it. groing up. my parents told me to question everything. life experiences, wat the teachers at school told me, wat i heard on the knews, wat the local priest told me. question everything because you need to know as much about all the end points and consequences before you make a decision. this questioning attitude towards life and integraded itself in my dreams. anotehr aspect is confidense. if we are unsure about something or fearful of a test or competition. we tend to question are abilitiy to succeed in the process. another thing is will power and base intelligence. if someone does not have the will power of base intelligence to control their life then they will not be able to do so in their dreams. these three aspects play directly into the lucid dreaming process and they all compliment eachother when trying to lucid dream. now my lucidity is directly infuenced by how confident i am in my ability to control the dream and my questioning attitude. if i am frightful or not confident in the dream then i will continue to play out the dream not aware of the fact that it is not real. however, if i am confident and focus and if there is a person, place or thinng in the real world that is taking a large amount of my waking focus, then lucidity is ussually acheived. i tend to use lucidity to either, focus on a waking world problem by either talking to 'the person or place or thing that directly relates to it', or take out stress by doing impossible feats. well thats enough backround. if anyone has any questions feel free to ask me. any aspects of dreaming are welcomed and encouraged. i will now dedicate these post to my nightly dreams.
