I was in a school room, having just had an experimental genetic splicing method tried on me, and I had to awkwardly explain to a suited man that I thought it was maybe a good idea in theory but as it was they shouldn't try it on lots of people. I felt stronger, more alive, but I thought it wasn't ready yet, or maybe people weren't.

I was sitting on a huge hill overlooking a city, a complex of villa-esque buildings behind me which I knew to be my school. It was a good view where I could see each street and building but not get a lot of noise. A map flickered into mind, indicating the location of the city.

Then I turned to someone sitting nearby, not caring who, and said: "Hahaahaha, this isn't real, is it? I live in England, this is like New Jersey or something." I didn't look at who it was or pay attention, but he just acted confused, I think.

So I immediately ran away, not losing breath or bumping into people or attracting attention. I knew I could do anything but didn't care much, I just ran and sometimes made a jump to see if it would set me in flight. After a few bridges and footpaths I ended up on a steady route. I noticed something and said: "What are you?"

It said: "Antagonism."
I said: "Like your inner darkness or something."
It said: "No, just resisting things. So I"m working against running further and going back and other small things."
I said: "Oh, okay then." and talked to it for a while.

Two objects, a small metal egg and a brass ring. One could only be broken by a fall of 30 feet, if dropped by a divine entity, the other never broke. They made a death acceptable, redeemed or fixed, somehow, and I discusses it with someone. Trees, buildings, dreamscapes.

I was annoyed because there was a train track in a location that I had to cross to get to school every day, running at high speeds with no barrier or warning. The location doesn't exist in real life, that's dream geography, and dream geometry as well I reckon. I wondered if the train actually ran during the time I cross it in the morning, and, examining the track, take out an electrical plug thing, before hurriedly putting it back, as not to break anything.

Railways as barriers, or hazards, in places they really should not be, recurs in dreams for me, quite often.

There was a nasty individual, a villain for the lack of a better word, who wanted to harness the powers of time to do tricks like clone people by sending them back and so on. I was assigned to the research of the field. There was a stone track, like a wheel, around which the subjects would travel. There were enough people to fill it, and a horse or two for some reason. They walked around and I would try and adjust the experiment and watch the effects of the phenomenon in the walking subjects, without even thinking about the morality of working for who I did. Those subjects, some would just merge or split in a flash of light, but a failure made one change out of control, a paradox creating a strange black whirl as it consumed them.

At first, I remember a map, showing how a nation marked in brown on the map spread from Japan to a series of new islands and microcontinents in the Pacific. Slowly it reached an island far away from its origin and the original lands became home to others. Now and then a patch of yellow would appear on the map, showing strife. I think there was more to that world, a lot, but I don't remember it all.

I became suspicious about some of the nations and their success, so I 'descended' to see them. One mentioned the Romans, showing they has 'future knowledge' as that wouldn't have happened yet on this world. There was another human who knew and.... something else.

When I investigated I found myself in a fork of a dark corridor, two ways going into different rooms. Something explained to me, or maybe I remembered, that anguish and other heartfelt emotion leaves behind psychic traces, which amalgamate into things. I wondered briefly about the different things that might appear from different origins, even excited at the possibility of some and afraid at others.

There was one there. It 'spoke', although I don't recall everything, about its existence and other things. It was very clearly malicious, but didn't lash out. I found someone else nearby, but before I could say anything I felt a hypnic jerk, stumbled forward and shouted. There was a rushing, screaming sound of a kind that only dreams seem to be able to achieve. The person didn't notice, but by the time I asked why, I was waking up.

I was on the phone to my sister, who was asking me where I was. I could somehow see the room she was in, although only that she was next to a fish tank or maybe a terrarium. I said that I was at home and was confused, because I wasn't exactly anywhere out of the ordinary. Not pressing the point for much longer, she started introducing me to some person next to her for no clear reason, who I could barely see, but at that moment I'd thought she'd finished and put the phone down.

Then, I remember something about boats, floods in the streets, and an independent fragment about chimpanzees starting to get more intelligent and how they'd destroy themselves quickly if they were able to use weapons.
