The Beginning

It is currently 10:36 pm. I am not sure I chose the correct time while setting up my account, but I will fix it later if I must.
I've always been intrigued by lucid dreaming, and also a bit nervous. I guess the idea of realizing you're dreaming makes me afraid that I won't be able to awaken. But I think that it's a silly concern and am going to pull through anyways.
I've read multiple articles and such, learning everything I can. What I read the most was, however, was to differentiate your techniques, because keeping them the same will send you back to where you started.
But since I am just beginning, I will do this; As soon as I wake up, immediately write down my dreams on a notebook I keep on my nightstand. I've already got a few, I figured I could check and review every week/month or so? Haven't decided. Then I will continue on with my day, possibly doing a reality check or two. Have been considering starting up yoga and meditation, though not specifically for lucid dreaming, I heard they are very helpful in that sense.
