I walk out of my cottage unto a huge grassy field and, though expecting sunshine, find instead a markedly gloomy discoloration/tint to everything. A few more steps and I notice that there are people panicking everywhere... I mean grabbing their cheeks and screaming. Pounding their fists into the ground. Literally pulling their hair out. Being human, I start to lose my cool a bit because of their actions but before I turn to screaming and running around rampant I ask a few people what the hell is wrong with everyone. I get ignored until this woman, (who was a potato farmer if I had to guess) said "you must be ignorant. How have you not heard that the world is about to end. how have you not heard?" etc. etc. I then think to myself "clearly this must be a dream", and as you know...yes. Although I did gain control of this one, it was kind of a clumsy control... it was some-what like being drunk. and trying to drive. I don't have a more logical analogy. well, I begin to get a kick out of the horde of people panicking while i'm strolling around with a fat grin on my face... so I started to hum a song that I wrote spontaneously and I have it play out-loud. I don't really know if anyone in my dream noticed it, but I sure as hell did...because I decided to start dancing. Then I decided I wanted everyone to stop panicking and dance with me but I couldn't figure out how to control anyone else. Eventually I decided that I could overhand throw "dancing" from my hands like baseballs and start hitting people, this goes on for a while and by now my song has turned into basically a house/techno beat, so i'm having a blast...I then stop and think to myself "wow this is the most casual i've ever felt while lucid...I should try to fly" {background info, since this is my first post (I forgot i'm not writing this in my personal journal)...I can't fly. Every time that I try to fly I either wake up or just straight up can't do it. I have had one non-lucid flying dream in my entire life.} so I quit shooting dance-moves at people, turn around and run full speed until I see that the ground is slopping gradually, as if i'm running down a gradual hill...I plant my feet and jump and spread my arms and... slowly descend back down :/ I then "moon jump" several more times, i'd say making it up to 20-25 feet high and probably do 5 or 6 jumps before I wake up, i guess out of a mild frustration Enjoyed that one, but if anyone has any flying advice - that would be awesome. I have sky diving on my to-do list... Also, I don't live in a cottage or know potato farmers.
