I don't have Live but I have played Gears to completion twice: default difficulty and the next higher, which unlocks after you beat it the first time (I forget the names they assigned the difficulty levels). It's been some months since I've played it but it was an awesome game, to say the least. I just hated that you get sucked into crouch mode when you brush up against "cover" while trying to run past. That flaw got me killed a few times. It was also somewhat irritating that you can't just jump over something without having to first stop and crouch behind it. And not to mention the fact that your CPU teammates are about as useless as tits on a boar hog. Luckily you don't really need their help to complete the game. Those flaws are easy to overlook though, considering how solid and visceral the game is.
