If you went directly from waking to dreaming, then yes it was a WILD. I'm not sure why you WILDed - it sounds like you weren't trying to. Maybe you're a natural WILDer... |

I woke up today around 5:30 to a loud nouse that shook my house. I said hey that is splendid why not try a wild. I made sure it wasn't a flase awkening or anything first. I just laid in my bed, no sensation came or anything. Then another loud noise shook my house again but i was sure it wasn't dream related because i could hear my dad taking a shower also. Then i decided to go to sleep normally because the loud noises woke m up to much. then all off the sudden i felt my hands go straight through my matrees, only my hands though and nothing else. I was lucid, but how? I made sure it wasn't a fals awakenign i did like 50 reality checks. |

I think it was only the hallucinations you have when WILDing. I myself easily lose track of my body when WILDing, and when I come back to it, it's like I could phase through my bed at any instant. |

Saying quantum physics explains cognitive processes is just like saying geology explains jurisprudence.
I once heard a theory that, when you stop pursuing things, they happen. Take dry spells, for example xD |

Yeah, make sure to tell us how it goes. A dream journal, maybe? |

I know how it feels when you dont know if you are WILDing or if its DILDing.. I had a very confusing lucid experience last night too. You can read it under the titel "Was it a WILD or a dream?" But hey, we got Lucid.. Thats the important thing. I`ll try the same thing tonight again:-).. |
|
If you were sure you weren't dreaming then it wasn't a WILD. Just hallucinations as Kromoh said. Good luck next time though! |

Im not to entirely sure what you guys are saying. I'll try to make my self clear right now. I woke up a 7, decided i need more sleep and went back to bed with out any intention of wilding. I became consious when i felt the shift and then slithered out of my body into a dream scence. So i think you guys are trying to say that since i was unconsious it was not a wild. if it wasn't a wild what would it be considered as? |

If you knew it was a dream then you were lucid. |
|
right, so after awoke and made sure it wasn't a false awakening i went back to bed and fell unconsious. Then it's like i was suddenly consious for the shift that you feel if you were going into a dream but the dream has not started yet. It's almost like i was unconsious for the whole process of a wild but was consious for the shift into a dream. |

Yes, I think that's what I meant. You felt the hypnagogic sensations. If you waited you could have fallen into a LD. I guess it could have been a WILD (sort of) . Just like you described. |
|
ahhaah yay my first sorta WILD. ohhh yeah and btw i did fall into an ld both times. |
|
I should be floating, but I'm weighted by thinking
Yeah. I was confused when you said that you were lucid, but did 50 RCs to be sure it wasn't a FA. It's sort of contradictory. |
|
ahhhhahaha yeah just a bit....... but thanks for the insight. |
