Hello i am making this thread to help newbies to Lucid dreaming acheive there lucid dreams.

Over the past 5 months i have been doing WBTB everyday of the week, i have had a few lucid dreams this way but the waking up is now starting to take a effect on my overall health, so over the last 2 weeks i have started to get into DILD as it requires no waking up, i rarely get DILD's by itself so i looke don the forum for Lucid mp3's. These are the steps i took which i think have had a great effect as i get lucid almost everynight with this method, but it may be different for everyone so please post you results.

Step1: Everyday make sure you do reality checks, the reality with the most effect i think is the one where you squeeze your nose and try to breath, only do a reality check when you see things which are out of place or look dreamy, for instance if you saw something in your room which you think shouldn't be there, do a reality check.
Doing this everyday will get your brain in the habit of doing a reality check everytime you see something out of place, and of course everything is out of place in a dream. Well almost anything....

Step2: Go to bed really really tired, so you are on the brink of falling asleep,
and listen fully to this mp3

Make sure you do not fall asleep whilst listening to it. *important*

Step3: By this time you are really wanting to fall asleep, but don't, start listening to this mp3 for about 15 minutes.

You should now feel very tired and wanting to go to sleep badly.

Step4: Now lay in bed with your eyes closed and relax, tell yourself mentally that you will become aware when you enter a dream, repeat this about 5 times and really mean what your saying, but don't will it, don't say it desperatly.

Now go to sleep and think about what you will do when you become lucid.

This technique was made by me after i decided to try DILD, on the first night trying i managed to remember 4 vivid dreams and i had one Low level lucid, as i did this everynight i recorded the same results everyday almost.

But be warned as i said before this was made by me and that means it might not work for everyone else, so don't expect to get Lucid just because i did.

And finally remember to keep a dream journal, this is very important as it tells your sub concious how serious you are in getting Lucid.

Also when listening try to listen with headphones, but don't listen to it loudly only loud enough that it makes you not sleep and not keep you awake too much.
